"We really enjoyed the charm and character of this VRBO. The host was so kind to set up the extra twin mattress for us and we appreciated the snacks since we were traveling with two kids. We only stayed one night but almost wished we had a little more time at this beautiful studio VRBO! "

"Place was very clean. Bathrooms do not have air. On One of the beds the pillow cases had mascara on them. Beds were comfortable . The owner communicated well with us. Loved the coffee bar. Very peaceful location !!! Loved the back area with view of the lake . Thank you for a great stay ! "

"I had to come to Brownwood for work training, and I wanted to stay somewhere quiet on the water. This place DID NOT DISSAPOINT. The owners were awesome, I had to stay an unexpected extra day. I will definitely stay here every time I come here for training. I really was a nice peaceful week! I would 12/10 recommend. "

"The property was a seemingly pretty new doublewide trailer with easy access to a lake with a dock for fishing. There was a nice back porch for eating meals. We were able to drive into Brownwood for a fantastic dinner at a restaurant called the Turtle, I believe. Should be checked out. The food was excellent. We had a great time."

"It was the right size for our family gathering. I would say it was built in the 1960s, so it has some age on it. We all enjoyed the spacious living room, nice-sized kitchen and 2 full baths and a half bath. We had to clean the outdoor areas. Very dirty. The frig door was full of used itemd. Pots and pans old, grungy and unusable."

"The property is clean, comfortable and has all the essentials that you could want or need. The bed and bedding was comfortable and good quality. The towels were soft, plush. Paula and her local cohost were responsive if you needed them. This is the second time I have chosen this property. The covered part was a huge bonus, it kept the car out of the direct sunlight and kept it much cooler. I highly recommend this property"

"If you are coming to Brownwood, this is an excellent place to stay! It is clean and bug free. Moonyeen and Don were absolutely wonderful to work with. "We were in town for the HPU game. Our family enjoyed our stay. It was cozy and perfect for us. We cooked at home the whole weekend and the kitchen is very well stocked with all the supplies needed and spices. The added touch of having coffee supplies and toiletries in the restrooms were very much appreciated! We traveled with a dog. The back yard was perfect for him to exercise. This home is a must stay! "Great spring break rental! We loved getting cozy near the fire place and listening to music on built- in speakers. The light setup outside was beautiful. Only down side was creek was too low and bank too steep to fish from the bank. Would have been nice if dock was complete to fish from. We were able to fish a from another creek about 5miles down the road."

Although we shared the dock with the two other cabins on the lot, we all worked together well with our timing to use the limited dock space cooperatively.
