"Lovely cottage in fantastic location but could do with a few improvements. Boiler kept failing, usually when having a shower, tap in kitchen needs tightening as very loose and when toilets flushed, very loud vibrating noise throughout. Need to put bedside cabinets in all bedrooms. TV aerial needs putting on. Pub next door can be very noisy at night."

"Three generations met for a suprise 70h birthday. Chevalier Estate is ideal for this as each family group had their own space but we could get together in the magnificent Dragon Hall. The accomodations are exceptionally well thought out and equipped. "Less IKEA more Sophie Conran" as one daughter observed. "Check in instructions were clear and came in plenty of time. Mick greeted us upon arrival as he lives a few doors down. Parking was ample and felt secure off the road in a private car park. The house was very clean and well catered for. It had Virgin TV with most channels available, which was a welcome addition. The only issue we had was getting a WiFi signal, which we needed to be near the front window for. I assume this may be because the extender wasn't working correctly to pick up the signal...

"Property was what we expected. Only niggles I’ve got are: Beds in the second bedroom were a little small, I’m 5’11’’ and was too tall for it. There was a constant sound from what could have been a boiler that did keep me up at night. Host was responsive and polite though. Overall good stay. I’d recommend, but for slightly smaller people who don’t mind constant noise."

"Fantastic location , quirky building with lots of space. Few niggles to help improve for future. Not clear from details that middle bedroom accessed through one or other upstairs rooms. It was ok for us but may be an issue for others. Kitchen had limited equipment eg no colander or sieve, no fish slice. Lighting in dining room a bit harsh so some lamps would be a good addition. Dirty baking trays in oven when we arrived. Piano needs tuning which was a shame as we had an excellent pianist with...
