They loved the place. Our girls could not get over how many toys they had to play with and how much space they had to run and play in and on the property. "The property was PERFECT in accommodating our large family - it was quite a feat getting all of us together to celebrate our Dad's 80th birthday! Both houses were clean and extremely comfortable. All the amenities you could ask for were provided, from extra towels to lots of ping pong balls and paddles. The hearth in the main house was gorgeous and cozy. The location of the property was great for us. Secluded and quiet, with a short walk down to the lake. We were gifted perfect fall weather...

"I loved the easy entry to the property. Using a number I know instead of something I would need to remember makes it a breeze. The amenities were great. Very clean. The rug in front of the main door kept getting caught under the door because of the fluffy carpet which was inconvenient so I moved it. I would stay here again and recommend it to others!"

"We had a wonderful time staying at the Amnicon lodge! Everything exceeded our expectations, and it was a great place to relax and enjoy the nature. The one thing I would say is that the bathroom is a shared space with the other cabins on the property. I did not see this listed in the description, but it wasn’t really an issue for us; just good information for future guests!"

"We enjoyed our stay, especially the deck. It was just my husband and I so we only used the downstairs of the house which was clean and comfortable. There is still construction in front of the house which was a bummer for the view but it was very quiet. Would stay here again. "

"Amazing home, space, view, people to work with! The owner Luke was almost instantly responsive to any questions or info I needed. I've never stayed in a vrbo that was that well-stocked with EVERYTHING. And the view was breathtakingly magnificent. "This was a great location for exploring the shore. There was easy access to both Duluth and the North Shore parks. It provided plenty of space for the 6 of us. We were able to gather together for family time and spread out when we wanted to get our homework done (2 college students and a teacher in the group). Be aware that it is on a well, so depending on what you are use to, you might want to bring bottled drinking water. "
