"The overall cabin was super cute and very clean. We did have a problem with bees in the house. My husband was assuming they were probably coming in through the barn door. The only thing I was just a little disappointed about was that we were actually in a neighborhood. I thought it was going to be a little bit more secluded. Overall, we had a wonderful time and I would recommend this VRBO to someone."

"This cabin was perfect for an extended family vacation. The location is remote enough to enjoy some quiet time and enjoy the surroundings, but close enough to venture out for hiking, fishing, and beer/wine tasting. The bedrooms are well situated so we weren't on top of each other. The covered porch and rocking chairs were the best part of the house! "

"I, my wife, and 2 grandchildren had an absolutely grand time at the farmhouse. Older home that has been renovated to today's needs and wants was situated on a higher point offering great viewes day and night of the Blue Ridge mountains (could see muliple ridges). "The check in was easy and we had such a good time! It was 13 folks who all came together to pray. Although we didn’t get to enjoy the fire pit, it was well stocked! The cabin beds were so comfy and the walk to the restrooms was not long at all. Kitchens were both small but the owner had told us beforehand! The one in the house offered a bar that we all gathered around many times! Everyone liked the beds, which is hard to accomplish! Thank you so much for your awesome hospitality!!"

"The cottage is just what I expected. Simple, lovely, cozy and had what we needed. Nancy is great at communicating and very responsive. The cottage is old, as described, and holds character. The window ac units were adequate for keeping everyone cool and comfortable. The entire property is absolutely beautiful."

" The property provided everything we needed. We enjoyed spending time with our family members and the space was comfortable, clean, and nicely furnished. We had a great walk over to the retreat center nearby where we saw deer and a spectacular view of the James River. For adventure and groceries we went to nearby Scottsville where we enjoyed dining and shopping. The wedding was wonderful and the property was perfect to reconnect with family during our stay."
