Beautiful home, excellent location
We stayed with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday. Maureen was very communicative and helpful, working with us to avoid some bad weather and staying in touch throughout our stay. The home is bigger than it appears in pictures, and very comfortable. Our group of 9 fit perfectly. It's also perfectly located an easy 10 minute drive from town and restaurants. We would absolutely stay here again!

Holiday Getaway
Perfect in all ways. Brought out of state family to Colorado to celebrate the holidays. The house is amazing. It was so well stocked with anything you could need. Location and views are outstanding. Maureen was great to communicate with. We will definitely be returning for another stay!

Weekend Retreat
It was a peaceful, quiet, gorgeous property. The house is everything it looks like in the pictures and more. It’s so charming and has everything you need for an incredible time away. The owner was fabulous and helped us find a place to eat in town. Loved the hot tub under the stars and then driving only 9 miles for the hot springs. I will book this again!

Thanksgiving Family Reunion
We absolutely loved our stay in this home. The home met our every need, and we felt very comfortable there. The home is beautiful and well cared for and the views from every angle were just breathtaking. We were fortunate to have a snowfall the night before we checked out and the grandchildren were in heaven building little snow men on the deck area. We are already talking about a return trip next year. Our hosts were most accommodating.

Beautiful elopement with mountain views
Maureen and Frank were kind enough to allow my husband and I to celebrate our elopement with our immediate family at their beautiful property. Despite the blizzard conditions complicating travel from the Midwest, we had the most perfect wedding day in the mountains! Communication was open and fast from the start and throughout our stay. Check in was fast and easy; we were even able to check in early. The cabin was even more beautiful than pictured, and the views of the mountains were breath taking from every angle. Everything we could have needed was provided for us during our stay. I can’t thank the hosts enough for allowing me to have the most special and memorable wedding day! Highly recommend this property!

Beautiful home and property. Spacious, well equipped and private. Perfect view of the surrounding mountains from the large windows and the hot tub! We saw several deer, and enjoyed walking the trail around the property. Short drive into town for dining, restaurants and more!

Owner has such an attention to detail, from fully appointed kitchen, bathrooms, to helpful introductions and vacation tips. Location and property are equally beautiful. Close to town but very private. This is our family’s second stay at this property. We would definitely recommend

Perfection!
My husband and I brought our three kids (ages 16, 14, and 12) here for a few nights away, and I can't say enough good things about our stay. I never wanted to leave the gorgeous deck with the incredible, peaceful view of Mt. Princeton! The hot tub was fantastic, the entire house was incredible, the game room was fun, it was spacious and clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The rock path outside was great, and the porch swing was fantastic too. The one and only thing I didn't love was that the upstairs suite doesn't have a solid door, only a thick curtain acting as the door. And the upstairs bathroom and bedroom are in one long room with no separation (thankfully the toilet does have a separate little room with a door), so it woke me up to hear my husband showering just a few feet away in the morning. Those things are easily overlooked though in light of the entire experience. The upstairs balcony was a huge bonus, and the owner was super kind and responsive when I texted her about a few different things - very willing to help! All in all, my family and I had an amazing time here, and I would go back again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend! :)

Best Family Vacation
This property exceeded our expectations for our family vacation. The property was gorgeous and spacious. The views of the mountains were amazing and we enjoyed walking on the walking path. We hiked everyday and enjoyed Chalk Lake, all of which were close by. It was very nice that we could use their camp chairs and fishing rods. Maureen was easy to communicate with. This is probably our favorite rental ever.

Great for Family Reunions
This was our second stay in this unique home, and we had a great time. Two of our children and four of our grandchildren, along with my husband and me, spent some overdue quality time together. There's plenty of room to spread out and have alone time as well. The game room and the puzzles and games provided were a massive hit with the kids. The scenic views around the property, the running creek, and the nature trail were beautiful. I highly recommend this home if you're staying in Buena Vista.

Take your breath away!
Our family of 8 enjoy our stay so much. Enough room for everyone to have space as well as lots of come together space. The views were breathtaking. The cleanliness of the property was outstanding. Another great visit!
This was our second time staying in this wonderful home!! Sitting on the patio(or in the hot tub) looking at the beautiful view of Mt. Princeton can’t be beat! The home is very comfortable and well equipped. Communication with owners was great too. We had easy access to town and different hiking trails. The half mile trail at the home is also well worth walking too. We will definitely stay again when we visit Buena Vista.
