"Overall the experience and communication was a big thumbs up. Great lake view with private back deck and private hot tub area. The walk to the lake is a bit on the harder side but worth a little adversity. Only a very minor issue in that the back deck lights would not work with multiple tries. Lights need to be fixed or replaced."

"My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Escape. We brought our boat with us, and the host was very helpful in communicating before and during the trip to make bringing our boat a stress-free stay. We will definitely be back. We enjoyed our day at the lake, spending time in the hot tub in the evenings and talking with our hosts. They also brought us a piece of cake from a local bakery."

"Our family (kids and grandkids) enjoyed the spacious property and the house. The house is nestled under trees which made it cooler. We loved eating out on the deck that looked out over the river. We were able to put our kayaks in the water from the little pier located on the property. The kitchen was well supplied and the bedrooms comfortable. This is a great spot for a family vacation or getaway."

"We had to cancel our trip due to my mom being put on hospice. We had actually gotten to the hotel when we got the news. The front desk clerk, Chantelle was so compassionate and kind, something you don't really find anymore. We appreciated her kind words. We have stayed in this hotel before and we will be staying again. It is always clean and accommodating. We love Mountain Home and this hotel!"
