"This property was an absolute dream. Fantastic views of Loch Ness, walking distance to Urquhart Castle, spacious, quiet, peaceful and clean. It was a bit difficult to find for the first time in the dark as it gets quite dark in Scotland, but that was more due to my unfamiliarity with the area than the instructions that were given. "This property is one of our top five VRBOs, we travel extensively and Jennifer is our favorite host by far, besides the home being exactly as advertised, and completely clean; the breakfast items and treats were unexpected and delicious. "14 of us from Worthing Rowing Club travelled up to take part in Monster the Loch and stayed here for 3 nights. It was perfect for our needs - plenty of bed space and a lovely homely kitchen that we lived in when not on the water. "We spent Christmas in Oak Cottage and it could not have been a more wonderful stay. Veronica was a communicative and helpful host from the get go and really went the extra mile by putting up some Christmas decorations up for us before we arrived.
