"Great place with plenty of room to host dinners for the family we were visiting. The down stairs area was great to keep all the kids entertained. Only suggestion we would make is to install a hand rail on the stairs inside the house. It would help some of the elderly family members we had visiting. "We had a group of 12 stay for a long ice fishing and had a great time. We stay somewhere different in Michigan every year. The pool table was a hit when we would come in off the ice. "Had an absolute great time. The property is very beautiful. Cabin is really cozy, however the bed situation needs some work. The bed in the basement is in a room in the basement with nothing in the room beside a bed and old basement smell. All the mattresses in the cabin are in extremely rough shape. Not a good sleeping experience. Lots of rules about where you can and can't go, put a vehicle, if you mess up a bed but don't sleep in it incurs fees, you have to bring your own firewood. "My wife wanted a winter cabin escape to celebrate her birthday, and this was the perfect spot! Nothing beat waking up in the morning with a fresh cup of coffee and watching the snow fall on the lake. There were plenty of things to do, our children (7 & 5) had a great time as well as my parents, who joined us to celebrate. We'd love to return both in the summer and again in the winter!"
