"Loved our stay at the Lighthouse. We arrived rather late after a full day at Longleat, but it was easy to find and had plenty of parking. Check in was friendly and the room was lovely and impeccably clean. Breakfast was tasty and my gluten/dairy free husband was well catered for and my son couldn’t wait to try out the play area! Just a lovely stay all round. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again the next time we visit the area."

"We only spent one night here but our room was warm, comfortable and spacious. There was a good choice for breakfast and the staff were all friendly. Overall I loved the old charm of the pub and the lovely big fireplaces, the food was nice, the staff were wonderful, but it wasn’t the best hotel room. - The “double/king bed” is 2 singles pushed together which is my pet hate. - cheap furniture needs upgrading. - The bathroom really needs an update. There was paint chippings from the walls all over the floor & in the shower cubical. The shower leaked & dripped all night. The bedding & textiles all felt thin & cheap....
