"This property is well situated for walking into town for meals and shopping. It is a little tired,the showers don't work to well, but the kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need to self cater, and the beds were clean and comfy and the staff were friendly and helpful."

"Older property on the islands, but most others accommodation I saw are also older. This was conveniently located with lots of parking. Big enough rooms. There is well stocked kitchen in the main lobby if you need to do light cooking. Only thing is they also provide rental car option which I could not find anywhere on expedia or the hotel website. So booked mine before booking hotel. Then got email about rental car option. So maybe Expedia can edit that in the about property. Otherwise highly...

"Absolutely a hideaway as the name of these apartments indicate. Friendly hosts and only too happy to accommodate. Property is aged but in the process of rejuvenation. Lovely place to stay. Thank you Ruth & Beresford.👍"

"I would stay at the Governors Lodge again. The staff are great, helpful and friendly. The cabins are basically a small house and very comfortable. The pool was good. If you have a car you park outside your cabin and the lodge can organise your car hire for you. Tour coaches stop outside reception. Bailey's restaurant is slightly upmarket with delicious food. The only negative is no free wifi and the paid wifi isn't stable. It's a walk into Burnt Pine township but no problem if you're fit."

"this is a good resort, however no air conditioning,heater or fan in the room made it a bit uncomfortable during my stay. The room was fine but beware of very small internet availability and cost. Had to buy a new simm card for phone as Norfolk has no roaming facility on any carrier."
