The home was clean and well stocked. A bit smaller than pics present, but cozy. Way too many stairs though. They are small, narrow, and sloping, quite hazardous and fatiguing after a few. Probably not a fit for middle aged to older folks, as there are many inside and outside. By the end of our stay, the sunroom was filled with ladybugs. Not bad when it comes to insects, but pest control needed. We could tell no one had come in awhile to blow off the leaves, as the decks were all blanketed, but I suspect they come back quickly this time of year. As someone else wrote, guests should try to come to the home during daylight, as it’s a bit hard to find, and gps is needed. Also, groceries, food, and gas are at least a 40 minute drive, so either bring some with you, or stop on your way. There is a very cute Mercantile 2 miles up the road, which has food and some groceries, but they close at 2:30. There is a beautiful vineyard up the road, but we didn’t visit this time. Lake is beautiful, and the fall leaves were gorgeous! We drove our motorcycle a couple times during our stay, and the ride was great!! We also went to the Cherokee shooting range, and that was fun. The park was beautiful, being on the lake, and the boat ramps were very busy! Even with the new Starlink, reception was a bit slow and in and out, but we made do.
All in all, we enjoyed our stay here, and we appreciated the clean home.
