Beautiful Property
Best experience renting a vacation property. The host was amazing and provided us with great suggestions for restaurants and regularly checked on us. Home is as advertised. Great location, comfortable beds, awesome pool and set-up. It has everything you would need. We took the kayaks for sunset “cruise” We can’t wait to go back! It will be a yearly trip.

This place was Amazing!!
I hardly ever take the time to do reviews. But this time is an exception because from day one Luis gave us a 5 star welcome and service. The house is beautiful and met all of our expectation and more. Even when the light went out for several hrs the generator kicked in automatically and everything kept running. Definitely planing on my next visit to this place. Thanks for the hospitality Luis 🙌

Paradise in Cabo Rojo
Our family of 7 absolutely loved our stay at the Villa. Plenty of room for all of us and any questions or concerns are quickly answered or addressed by Luis. We were able to cook every day at the Villa with both inside and outside kitchens stocked with the necessary tools needed to cook or go just a few minutes down the road for authentic Puerto Rican cuisine. In case of the possible power outage, which happened twice during our stay, the generator kicks in and runs the whole home automatically. Enjoy beautiful sunsets every night right from the back yard, pool or any room in the house (the whole back of the house facing the water is all windows) We wouldn't hesitate to book this house again. Thank you Luis!

Beautiful property!
Villla Joyuda is a stunning property with beautiful views. The house was beautifully decorated and we had everything we could have needed. All of the amenities were top notch and Luis was wonderful to work with and checked in with us several times to ensure we didn’t have any concerns/questions. As mentioned, the house is located on a very busy road and it can be tricky to get into the driveway when there is traffic. The narrow road prohibits the chance to walk to any nearby restaurants, so plan on hopping in the car to get to dinner. We had a fabulous stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book the house again. Thank you, Luis!

Wish We Could Stay Longer!!
The second to last day of our stay, my wife said, "I LOVE this place. I don't want to leave." She has never said that about any of our past home rentals. A family of four, including two teenagers, the home was perfect for us. All three bedrooms had AMAZING views. The outside living space was so comfy and stylish. The pool was warm. The living room had a large TV and surround sound for movie nights. One of our favorite (and very unique) things about this place was that we kayaked to a small island/nature reserve multiple times. We were the only ones on the island, hanging out with the unique wildlife on an isolated beach all to ourselves. Other great things: A/C, washer and dryer, fully stocked kitchen, an iPad loaded with great info & resources about the home, location, and local things to do, great wifi, outdoor shower, 1.5 miles to grocery store and gas station. Luis is amazing- very communicative and responsive. He checked in with us multiple times and provided great restaurant suggestions. He actually worked with me and spent extra time reaching out to VRBO regarding a credit card snafu, which was totally my fault. He did not have to do that. One very nitpicky thing to be aware of... there is no dishwasher (unless we weren't looking in the right place). On the other hand, washing dishes was not a requirement for checking out. Thank you, Luis! We will be back!

The house is amazing, and setting terrific Totally would go again. The owners were super helpful and always a quick text away. The place was super clean and modern. The perfect house to stay.
Beautiful property with the view of the Caribbean Sea. Wake up and go to bed with a cool breeze emanating from the sea. Modern kitchen with all the accessories. Amazing living room with a large TV and WiFi around de house. Spacious bedrooms and very confortable beds. Excellent grill with all the accessories. For starters I'm not going to be able to say enough, This home is outstanding !!
My husband and I happened to arrive in Puerto Rico on the very day they had an earth quake! I believe it was a 6.9? I understand this isnt a regular occurrence, I was informed that this hasn't happened in over 100 yrs. However, It was very unfortunate and my heart goes out to those that were impacted. keep in mind Puerto Rico truly is a beautiful, safe place to visit. As for us we were extremely fortunate! This home is not only beautiful but, it was built with everything in mind! We always had running hot and cold water, electricity , and gas. As well as all the comforts. The pool is solar heated so the water was nice and warm at all times. The furniture, bedding and even the towels plush and luxurious! Every room had a beautiful view. Structurally this house was so sound that we almost felt as though nothing was happening and we felt extremly safe. The owner, Luis was always a phone call away day and night with answers to any of our concerns or anything we needed. Luis, told me he ususlly welcomes his guest upon arrival personally but, due to scheduling , unfortunately he was not able to greet us. Well, although he wasnt able to greet us his attention to every detail and thoughtfulness made us feel like we had met him and had known him all along. He gave us suggestions on restaurants and nearby shopping and he had a detailed manuel readily available that came in handy. We will definitely book this home again! So if you're planning a trip to Puerto Rico and staying in the Cabo Rojo area, I would look no further than this home. This house does not disappoint!!!!

Paradise in Puerto Rico
My family and I stayed at Villa Joyuda for the holidays. Our family is from the island & we come every year, multiple times a year, but have always stayed in the metropolitan area. We are very happy we made the switch to Villa Joyuda this year & plan to come back again. We were 3 adults and two children (ages 11 & 6). The stay was absolutely fantastic. The home looks even more gorgeous in person than it does online. The house & grounds were spotless & easily enjoyed thanks to all the technological advances the home has to offer. The pool, outdoor sound system & grill were a big hit, especially with young kids. The views are beyond breathtaking. Sunsets were spectacular & being able to kayak as a family was amazing. We saw all kinds of fish & stingrays. The area is within a short drive of delicious restaurants, beautiful beaches, tourist attractions, supermarkets, and shops. But with a home like Villa Joyuda, you almost never want to leave (nor do you need to)! Luis was readily in communication with us, even though it was the holiday season. He checked in regularly to make sure we were enjoying our stay & was always immediately available anytime we had a question. This was our most memorable and favorite family trip yet. We can't wait to go back!

All In One Experience
Villa Joyuda is a All In One experience that no one could miss. Me and my family stayed for my birthday weekend, and all I can say is that we will be back soon. First of all, Luis and his wife welcomed us and made sure we were set before leaving. Our children (1 & 4 years old) went kayaking for the first time in their life and they loved it. The house is brand new and decorated with a minimalist touch in every corner. Cutting edge technology such as the appliances and sound system are part of the benefits of this listing. The pool has a solar heater so you don’t have to worry about getting in there during the night while you enjoy the music and drink. You don’t have to even get off your phone from your car. The house is equipped with smart Ipads and Tvs to broadcast your favorite music and children movies. The location of this property is a must. The sunsets are unique since your are in the west side of the island. Supermarket, restaurants, bakery, fresh fruit market are in less than 5 minutes driving. We have stayed in a lot of listing in the island and we have to say that Villa Joyuda is one a top. Thanks Luis for the hospitality!!

Amazing brand new property with everything you need for an unforgettable vacation. Comfortable living space, dormitories, showers and entertainment center. Enchanted sunset views, even from the infinity pool. Love the Kayak rides. Kudos to the owners for this splendid Villa!

Spent four days with my kids in this astonishing Villa. Heated pool, watched movies at night in truly surround sound Home Teather, did some fishing from the poet at night.... Simply far beyond my expectations!!! Will return!!!

Just what we needed!
My family (husband and two grown boys) thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Once we got the lay of the land (grocery stores, restaurants, etc.), we were set to enjoy our annual vacation to Puerto Rico. Though this house is located on a heavily-traveled road, the noise of the cars never distracted us from doing what we set out to do. This home has everything you need to enjoy and relax. Access to the kayaks was great, and we traveled over to Rat Island twice in the kayaks. We spent every evening on the magnificent porch playing board games and cards. We traveled twice up to Rincon (where we have previously stayed) to Steps Beach, our favorite snorkeling spot. Unfortunately, due to the waves, we were unable to snorkel. However, we did enjoy lunch at the local lunch stand. Empanadas are a must! We decided to make our way to Gilligan's Island in Guanica to check out this snorkeling destination and were very pleased! Thanks to Rene for rushing to help us get checked in and providing us with great information to help us enjoy our stay. If you are looking for a beach house with wonderful sunsets, access to kayaks, no more than 45 minutes to great snorkeling and off-shore fishing, this house is the place! The Taylors South Carolina

Very relaxing; right on the water!
For a frame of reference with this recommendation: My husband and I enjoy the road less traveled. We love immersion in the places we visit. We find resorts to be stifling. We chose this awesome cabin for several reasons. First; because it sits right on the water with full use of a paddle board, kayaks, snorkel equip and water toys. You can kayak to a nearby little island and snorkel. We had sea turtles poking up their heads all around us but esp by the island. You can pack a portable cooler -we always travel with one- and enjoy an evening paddle, watch the pelicans, float around on a calm evening and have a little picnic on the ocean kayak. You can go to one of many small local restaurants and enjoy fresh seafood. Secondly; the patio of this cabin is its crown jewel along with the beautiful views. Play dominoes or cards or hang in the hammock and read while you enjoy an amazing sunset. There are beaches nearby. We went to Rincón one day-fantastic. Third; while the cabin is rustic, it is clean and if there is one thing I do love; it is good sheets, nice towels and a comfortable bed. Lastly, Luis was extremely helpful and friendly. We texted him about when check out was, he offered that we did not have to rush and please enjoy a kayak before we left which we did. Rene met us at the house and was really great as well. Thank you so much-we loved your place!

We loved our home by the sea!
We, a family with kids aged 8 and 10, stayed for two full weeks in the Arias familys seaside home in Cabo Rojo and were so happy about it all. The small and simple house right by the sea has everything you need for a great holiday. It is a rustic holiday home, you find the luxury outdoors, with a small garden with the stunning view of the sea. Luis were easy to get in touch with and very helpful with everything we needed both on arrival and during our stay. The location in Cabo Rojo is a bit off the main Tourist road, which we appreciated, with lots of nice beaches and places to visit not to far away. Lovely and easygoing seafood restaurants a couple of minutes walk down the road. Our only trouble was some pretty mean mosquitos in the evening (great porch with mosquito net allows you to spend the evening outdoors anyhow). You also have the road with traffic really close to the house, meaning that you hear the traffic all the time. You have both mosquitos and traffic all over Puerto Rico, not a particular problem for this lovely seaside house. It comes with the strongest recommendations.
