Susana, the property manager, met us for check in and was flexible with our schedule due to a traffic accident shutting down the road. The property photos had obviously been taken years before. Things on the outside were beautiful, but the inside of the home had missing and broken tiles in the kitchen, no potable water (Susana said she would not drink it) and the water container in the photo as well as the microwave, no longer exist. The washer and dryer are in the living room so the only real gathering space is off the upstairs bedroom, (including going up steep, uneven stairs). The stove gas only worked half the time we were there and the oven never worked. There is a toaster oven but cooking for 4 in it was challenging. We asked for a drinking pitcher and Susana said she would bring the next day but we never got it. We were left only 4 towels, 1 roll of toilet paper, and 1 roll of papertowels for 4 adults for 7 days. When we asked Susana about anything, it was a big deal. She either became defensive or just ignored us. Who didn't ignore us was the property owner who shares the property and does not wear pants. That's right, every day he is waiting on the porch in his boxer shorts and at one point, we had only the screen door closed, I walked out of the bathroom after a shower in a towel headed to the bedroom to get dressed. He lets himself in and just stands there talking about bananas and ogling. After that, none of us stayed at the property alone.
