We could hear howler monkeys, birds and even saw a sloth in the property, very cool. Emma was responsible and a pleasure to deal with. The house was cleaned by the property management 3 times during our stay which was a plus. The beach was a short walk away and absolutely beautiful, shaded and inviting. We stayed for two weeks during Christmas and New Years. We had five adults and five kids.
While the location of the property was convenient for walking to restaurants and the grocery store across the street, it was also very much in the middle of a lot of activity and bustle. The “bombetas”(mini bombs), a type of firework, were so loud that they would absolutely startle us each time they went off, the children were frightened and had trouble sleeping. Unfortunately due to the fireworks there was nothing tranquil or Zen about our stay. There was absolutely nothing that we could do about the surrounding noises. If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful stay, during the holidays keep this in mind. Otherwise, the property and pools were dreamy
