Beautiful cabin, had a great week with family relaxing and staying cozy for New Years. Friendly host. Pet friendly. Very secluded yet easy to find and not too far from stores. Beautiful overlook across the street, neat property to explore. Feels like home! Spent most of our time playing board games and taking in the views, our dog loved being able to expore the property too.

This cabin was great for a short trip to the mountains and we had a wonderful stay. The cabin was clean and well-kept. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space. Check-in was super easy, which made arrival stress-free.The view from the deck and the balconies was beautiful and the surrounding area was fun to explore.I would definitely go back and stay here again. Highly recommend!

Oh man this is exactly what we had in mind for a quick weekend getaway! This beautiful cabin literally sits on the side of a mountain. All of the nooks and crannies where you can hang out with family whether it is the picnic table in the yard, around the campfire, walking to see the Bluff, or just sitting on the deck, enjoying a cup of coffee is amazing.It was so comfortable, well thought out and cozy, which we really appreciated coming from the hustle and bustle of life.We ventured out and went about 40 minutes north to Mountain Town and went thrifting, ate pizza, and then went bowling. The town was so wonderful. My 17 year-old and my 19-year-old were so bummed to go home and asked when we would be planning to go back. Soon I hope!

Peaceful

Very nice secluded cabin. However it was not as close to the river as i thought. I mistakenly thought that the view of the river was in the backyard but it was across a road from the front of the property. Other than that it was as expected. I enjoyed the seclusion.

Most unique home we have stayed in Calico!

We loved the spring water and geothermal air system. Great outdoor spaces and secluded. Plenty of water pressure, hot water, and nice cool air, plus a lot of room for 6 of us. We enjoyed trout fishing and cooking them in the fully stocked kitchen!

House and location are amazing. Met family members from Montana who had never been to Arkansas and they were very impressed. Rock climbing across the dirt road, canoeing down the White, Ozark Village in Mountain View and Mountain biking at Sylamore. House reminded us of our childhood memories in the mountains! Very quiet and secluded weekend getaway!

My family and I were wanting a short weekend getaway somewhere quiet and secluded and this house really fit the bill. We spent a lot of time setting on the back deck enjoying the beautiful view of the Ozarks. We even saw some turkeys! Just a short walk across the road is a very scenic view of the river. Had a great time!

Another weekend at this great cabin

This cabin has officially become a tradition for me and my friends! We first stayed here last year and immediately knew we had to come back. Now, it’s our go-to spot for relaxation, great memories, and an escape from everyday life.The cabin is always spotless, cozy, and perfectly stocked with everything we need. Whether we’re sitting by the fire, enjoying the peaceful surroundings, or just unwinding on the porch, it always feels like home. The hosts clearly put a lot of thought into making this place special, and we appreciate it more each time we visit.We’re already looking forward to next year’s trip! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a perfect getaway.

Perfect Secluded Cabin in Arkansas

Every New Years we look for a unique cabin that's secluded. It's hard to find one that's not a stone's throw to the neighbor. This cabin is very secluded with a lot of character in the cabin and on the property. We enjoyed a short walk to the bluffs for amazing views and photos. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a cabin that sleeps several people, with privacy and amazing views.

Awesome place!

This place is great. Secluded, private, well kept and very relaxing. The beds were pretty decent, kitchen had everything needed to do the basics, the fireplace was AWESOME, and the deck is the perfect place to relax whether it’s coffee in the morning or stargazing at night. My one complaint would be the downstairs room had a bunch of dead lady bugs all over the floor (we understand they get in the house, we are familiar with country living but they could have been swept up). We loved it and it’s close enough to everything, and at the same time out away from everything. We will definitely be back.

Family vacation

Our family of 7 (2 adults and 5 kids ranging from 7-14) all had a great time! Although not much exploring right on the property, good hiking trails are just around the corner, as well as a great view of the river! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home!
