"The room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. They loved our dog. We like the fact that we were able to have our dog in the hotel with us. Breakfast was amazing except we like biscuits and gravyy everyday. Thumbs up"

"Would not recommend. The gentleman at the desk was nice. I was in the shower when the cleaning lady unlocked the door and started coming in. I yelled that there was someone in the room. I thought it was my husband til I heard the female. This was at 8:30 in the morning. We reserved a smokefree room and it smelled horrible of smoke. Beds very uncomfortable, shower was off putting. We left a day early because of the issues. Never again for us."

"If you are looking to getaway for a relaxing vacation, then this is the place. The home is just as described in the listing. The sunrise/sunset lake views are amazing! There is plenty to do inside and outside of the house. There is plenty of room for everyone to sleep. The kitchen is fully stocked with all of the pots, pans, plates, and utensils you'd need. Our host was very responsive. We couldn't have asked for a better weekend! "

"We did not stay here, the host apparently passed away (according to prior review). Upon realizing from another reviewer that this was the case, I immediately contacted VRBO to have listing removed and get my money back. I was told my reservation was canceled and I’d receive it within a week. Not only did they never cancel it, I haven’t received my refund, and VRBO keeps giving me the run around about when I will even though it’s for a reservation I couldn’t even attempt to use. Pathetic."
