"The stay at this guest house on a pecan farm was a wonderful experience with all the comforts of home. New appliances, plumbing and bath fixtures. Great back enclosed porch facing the Brazos River valley, we watched the bright stars unobstructed by city lights and enjoyed the absolute silence of the central Texas country. We hope to retun to this womderful place again."

"My husband and I just got back from Wine Down Acres and we’re already talking about our next stay there. The house was clean, the property well taken care of, and the hosts were very friendly. Our dogs enjoyed running around the property and swimming in the pond. We didn’t bring fishing gear this time, but next time we will, as the pond was well stocked with fish. "The host was very helpful. We were coming to town for a wedding and I was tasked with providing lunch for the wedding party Our host was so accommodating by letting me use coolers and making sure the kitchen was stocked with cooking utensils I needed. The communication was super helpful. We would have loved to stay longer to enjoy the property- really beautiful."

"This adorable house in the country was a great place for our group to stay! We were 3 couples and our kids coming to College Station for a game weekend. Everything was clean and well-prepared for our arrival. The kitchen is nicely stocked with everything you can need to cook a good meal. The beds and linens were comfortable and cozy. It is quite a way out of town, but not a bad drive at all. We had a great time and would gladly come back and stay again. "

"My wife and I like to stay out away from Bryan/College Station when attending TAMU football games to avoid the traffic and crowds. The Cottage is in a nice location in the country. Great views f4om the front porch. Super clean and a really comfortable bed. Also, the owners are a pleasure to deal with. We will be back next season."

"It's a beautiful home set on a large property. It has a beautiful pool that we enjoyed and lots of room to spread out in. We met the owner who was very nice and obviously takes great pride in his property. In renting this property, you should know that it is 5-10 minutes from the main road on a gravel drive that is moderately maintained. "This host anticipated all our needs and more. Everything was extremely clean and organized. She gave extra touches like a bag of ice in the freezere, fresh flowers and personalized note of welcome. I would highly recommend this host. The neighborhood appeared a little run down, but this by no way effected our stay due to the superb quality of the home. It was very quiet also."

"The home was not clean and had ants. It smells like smoke so much so that even my luggage smelled like smoke. The neighborhood is not great. Definitely not worth the price. When I brought the ants and the fact that the house was not cleaned to the manager’s attention …they did spray for ants and clean up. The manager was helpful but I would not stay here again. The smoke smell was awful."
