"The description of the place is perfect, "Charming Cottage Retreat". The cottage is tucked up in the woods, private, with a great deck to relax on with a fire pit, overlooking an open mowed field. It was clean, comfortable, good air conditioning, with plenty of bathroom towels, good seating with kitchen space that totally fits the size of the cottage. We felt very secure at the cottage. "We had such a beautiful visit with our children at this cabin! The woods were peaceful, the home was so clean & welcoming, we especially loved the board games! Dana & Will were responsive, accommodating, & so welcoming. This was a perfect place to bring my family to visit the area I grew up in! We surely will be back!"

"Great property, great stay at a very nice cottage. We visited for the weekend for Penn State’s homecoming. Close to the stadium, easy access to I-99 and plenty of food options w/in 3 miles. Two bedrooms w/king size beds and a couch w/a trundle. Very comfortable w/TV, patio, firepit, and charcoal grill. The worse part of the weekend was the non-stop rain on game day."

"We went out on a limb and found this gorgeous property to get married at. With honesty and great communication with our host they allowed us to have a few extra guest to perform our wedding ceremony. "Excellent place to relax! Everything was lovely, perfect and simple! Only thing i'd suggest is putting a mirror up in the small A frame cottages and the ability to control the oscillating fan. Definitely will be back!! "

"I planned on spending my birthday in happy valley and searched all over for a place, then I found Lakewood cottage. I talked it over with the other couple that came with and it was an easy yes for the 4 of us. The place wasn’t far from the stadium and easy to get to.
