This property could be so special, unfortunately the owners don’t invest in it. It’s a shame. We aren’t complainers, but we have a duty to share in this case. Wow. To summarize: 1) when arrived at 4pm and were asked to come back at 5pm, delayed a hour than anticipated, 2) the kitchen floor and counters was not clean, 3) the beds were not made, 4) the master shower was not cleaned, 5) the kitchen glasses and dishes were not clean, 6) we were told we could not bring our dog and then had a dog welcome gift when we arrived. Hugh?? In addition, the property was under par and was insulting for the price we paid for the week; 1) many outlets in the house did not work, 2) one of the Master bedroom blinds that looked to the Lake did not open, it was broken, 3) no instruction to use the indoor fireplace, 4) the kitchen needed to be painted, 5) the outdoor chairs needed to be painted, 6) I weeded before we had guest arrive, the walkways has 24’’ weeds, 7) weeds in the gutters, 8) random branches down in the lawn. The property is under maintained and needs maintenance. The property was not ready for our agreed arrival.

This house was great for our group of 4 adults and 4 kids, with a couple minor issues. The location is fabulous - close to town and Bristol, the interior & exterior space is lovely, and the views of the lake are stunning. Unfortunately the guest house had no running water, which we were not told about in advance. That made it a little tight for our group of 8. I don't see how this house would sleep 14. An upgrade on the kitchen supplies would make it easier to cook for a large group. Luckily there are plenty of restaurants nearby! Overall a lovely house - we would love to return in the summer when we could spread out a bit more.

Upon arrival to the property, we noticed a top bunk was missing from one of the rooms. We also found a can left on a table in one of the rooms. We also found the water to be turned off in the cottage that was considered to be one of the bedrooms. There was also no instructions for turning on the fireplace which we were hoping to use at it is January. There was no path shoveled to the extra bedroom in the cottage. It was a nuisance for guests to have to trek outside in -4° temps in the middle of the night to use the restroom in 6 inches of snow. When we brought our concerns up to the property manager they apologized and said that the description said there was no top bunk in 2021. When I looked back at the description I had to click around for quite some time before finding that tiny detail as well as the fact that the bathroom in the cottage was not accessible in the winter months. It is also 2022, not 2021 and the main page still shows two bedrooms with two bunk beds each. I also rented this as it showed a pool table and a ping pong table. This was in fact one table and was in the garage which was not heated. Again, a downfall with the frigid January temps and no path was shoveled to it either. When I arrive to a location for vacation with friends, the last thing I want to do is bundle up and shovel. Lastly, the king bedroom was quite cold and there was not access to turn the heat up. Overall, this is not a property I’d suggest renting unless you do so in the summer months.

Our girls weekend could not have been more fun at the lake. This gorgeous property was immaculately clean with fresh wrapped sheets and towels. Stocked with every item we needed and the most gorgeous view of Canandaigua Lake. We will most definitely be back!

We had a lovely stay right on the lake. The house was huge for our 14 people - everyone for comfortably. Check in and out was easy, everything was clean. Only negatives were the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes when we arrived and the water pressure wasn’t great in the shower, but otherwise it was wonderful and we would absolutely recommend!

Lovely neighborhood, beautiful home, and stunning views. I hosted my best friend's bachelorette party here, and it was very comfortable for the 10 of us! I highly recommend staying here if you have a larger group. I want to live here.
