Great place!
I absolutely loved staying here! It was clean and very easy to get to. Talking with the hosts was easy, in the day time trains go by but they are not loins and never honk their horns.

Good enough
This was an affordable place for our family to stay in Canmore. The place was not perfectly clean, with some sticky spots in the kitchen and other small issues elsewhere, but it was adequate. Met our needs for the two nights we stayed. Be aware that there are air conditioning units in the windows, even though it's winter, that blocked the shades from closing all the way, with bright lights right outside the back windows, which was annoying. Overall, not the nicest, cleanest, newest place to stay in Canmore, but we were happy to have a place we could afford (in the off season).

Fantastic October 2 week stay
Fabulous accommodation plenty of space, close to Canmore centre with bus stop to Banff very close . Communication with host was amazing . Cannot fault anything except house was very warm, which we eventually changed with thermostat.

Not What it Seems
The property was not anything like what the pictures showed on the site. Very dirty and many things broken. Couldn’t even close windows securely. Air conditioning did not work. Railway tracks right outside bedroom windows which was not indicated on listing. Dishes were the only nice thing about this place.

Very enjoyable stay at The Frigga managed by Samsara
We had a very enjoyable stay at the Frigga. We chose this unit because it was a 3 bedroom and we wanted the young adults to have their own room. Be sure to read all the reviews. I totally missed that this unit listed 2 bathrooms, but there is only 1 with a bathtub/shower. The main floor bathroom is a powder room so essentially the unit has only 1 shower. Make note if you are a large group. The unit was well laid out as indicated in the photos. Space was good for 4 people but likely will feel cramped with 5+ or more. The gas fireplace is a nice feature but due to the placement of the L shaped couch, it was relegated to being a side item. Television is huge and Netflix was a nice bonus. The kitchen is well equipped. The addition of Tim Horton's coffee was an unexpected touch (we brought our own). Appliances are modern and the cleanliness of the space was evident throughout. We booked in February. The unit heater was more than adequate. We imagined it would be quite hot in the summer so make note of people's comments about the portable AC units. One thing not mentioned in the ad is that the unit is right next to the train tracks. Trains move through Canmore about 10 times a day at all hours. This was a surprise as no one mentioned this in their reviews, but since like trains, it was fine. Please make note. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and close access to Canmore and Banff made this location very ideal.

Canmore Banff Family Vacation
The location of this property is ideal for a Banff vacation. The shops and restaurants of Canmore were within easy walking distance. The town of Banff was about 20 minutes, and Banff National Park was about thirty minutes to the big sights. 60 minutes to Lake Louise. The National Park Passes were a nice touch as well. The listing stated air conditioning, but the a/c was actually mobile units that did not work very well and did not work at all in one of the bedrooms. We had the property maintenance guy out, but he was unable to make them work and basically told us this was what our fate was. It was a very hot week in Canmore, so that was unfortunate. The bedrooms were small when crammed with the furniture. It was nice to have a king size bed, but we only had about a foot of walking space around the bed and less where the mobile air conditioner was located. The exposed duct work from the mobile a/c units to the windows was less than desirable. The dining room looks great in the photos, but again no room to walk around the table to get to any of the chairs, so that space became basically uncomfortable and unusable. That was okay because we went out to eat anyway, but if someone wanted to cook out, dining would not be comfortable. The unit said two bathrooms, but only one had a shower. After six people shared a shower for a week, it was time to go home. One toilet ran constantly and was never fixed in spite of asking. The photographer was excellent for this listing

The property is aging and needs some fixing and update. The railway at the back was loud and woke us up couple times at night. I think most of the properties in Canmore are affected by the railway traffic at night unfortunately. The portable air conditioners helped with the hot weather but also so noisy and affected sleep quality. We had a big group of 8 people and this properties would be good to accommodate our need with queen bed for two bedrooms and two single in one bedroom.

Great Group Stay
A great multi-room space to stay with a group coming to Canmore. The hosts were very accommodating and great to communicate with. The air conditioning in each area was greatly welcomed on the hot weekend we stayed in the space. Nicely decorated and included all the essentials. Definitely beats staying at a hotel. Would return and highly recommend to others.

Talk about a beauty!
Rented this place for a work trip that I was unlucky enough to not to be able to go on. All I heard was how perfect the place was, the property owners/managers were awesome! Great communication and understanding with the crew that was there. an hour-ish to Calgary, 30ish minutes to Sunshine Village, not too far from the hot springs, needless to say, an ideal location. 11/10, would rent again and would strongly recommend to anyone traveling to this beautiful part of the world. Thanks!
