"The best vacation ever!! Very close to the beach- We walked on the beach almost everyday. Breathtaking views from all the windows, especially the main window. Town was a short walk away. Beach towels and all you could need to cook were provided. You can't tell from the pictures but there is a TV there probably 42 inches.The rocking chair was my favorite to sit in, very comfortable. Only pro was the sofa bed was broken, however there was sleeping pads under the twin beds and that worked just fine...

"The location of these little cottages is unbeatable. It was super quaint and cute! Has everything you’d need for a weekend getaway for 2. I would NOT try sleeping on the front “sofa” - it was super hard. Definitely a pet friendly unit and smelled a bit like dog pee. "For the price this was a great choice for large groups who can split costs. We had a group of 8 and there was ample sleeping room and we split the cost 3 ways which was equivalent to the hotels/campground cabins in the area. Many (BUT not all) of the previous issues have been resolved. House is very musty and damp with in 12 hours of last clean. There are no smoke/ cO2 dectors and there is at least 1 window with no screen. Parking lot is tree covered so downstairs gets very messy with dirt/pine...

"We had a fantastic stay at the Sand Castle! Great location, right in the middle of town and on the beach. The wild bunnies were a big hit with the kids! Arnold and Malia were super attentive and responsive. The house itself is very cute and kept very clean (unlike many other beach houses we have stayed at). This was our first time on the Oregon Coast and can’t wait to be back!"

"The smell of the rental was horrible. We walked in to a very strong chemical smell that never went away during our 2 night stay. The windows were permanently locked so we couldn't air it out that way. We had to open the front door for fresh air. The smell was so strong, it was unappealing to even want to cook in the kitchen. "Outstanding rental unit experience! The space is perfectly located: just a couple of blocks to the north will get you great coffee or good food. Just a couple of blocks to the south and you’ll find great coffee, fun shopping, and pretty darn good food. And then there’s the beach! It is just a block away and so easy to access.
