Could not have asked for a more stunning view of the canyon. The home was everything we were looking for and the host was friendly and ensured we had everything we needed. Will absolutely book again!

Better than the pictures
We arrived and instantly was taken away by the breath taking views. The pictures in VRBO do not do it justice. The house is spotless, well maintained, has everything you need. Unfortunately we had to leave after 1 night bc hurricane Beryl hit our home and a 100' tree fell on our house back in Houston. We had to leave immediately the morning after arriving. We were heart broken not to get to hike and explore the area and enjoy such a wonderful property. We are already planning a return visit in the fall.

Best view!
Everything about our stay was perfect! The view was stunning and was enjoyed from the porch, the hot tub, and inside with the AC. I wish we had more time to enjoy all of the games. I loved this house so much! Thanks for a delightful stay!

Family gathering
Cliffside was perfect in every way. The view was really to die for. The grill, hot tub, ac, game room were all totally functional. The kitchen had so many beautiful touches that made this place a perfect stay. We felt so comfortable staying here and have great memories of family fun that will last through the eternities. Stunning!
Our stay was too short. We flew in Friday night and left before dawn on Sunday. The house is perfect. The hot tub dissolved the 12 hours of travel quickly. The view from the picture window actually took my breath away. One small issue was quickly dealt with. Would highly recommend this house for anyone.

Outstanding!
The view into Palo Dura Canyon was outstanding! You have the view from the dining room, kitchen, living room, deck, and hot tub. Watching the sunrise was magical. It is a spacious property with lots of fun activities. It is very close to the State Park enterance.

We loved the Cliffside house - the views were amazing and we enjoyed everything about it. The hot tub was great after a day hiking the canyon. The house had everything we needed for a wonderful family trip!

Four-Generation Spring Break Adventure
Description of "stunning canyon views" is an understatement!! We loved everything about the house and it was very comfortable for our family of eight people. The guest contact was very responsive and incredibly thoughtful. We appreciated all of his helpful info and restaurant recommendations, especially Green Chile Willy's chicken fried steak! If we return to the area we will definitely be hoping this house is available.

Breathtaking view of Palo Duro Canyon
The house has been wonderfully updated with huge windows that give you an amazing view of the canyon. Also there is a nice toasty hot tub on the patio and again, with canyon views. Wonderful property. Also, for anyone staying here, I heartily recommend the local mercantile - the Sad Monkey - for coffee, craft beer, and essential hiking and camping items.

Stunning views. Don’t miss the sunrises! Wonderful home and host. Close to Palo Duro State Park for hiking. Perfect for family trip. Note the 2 smaller bedrooms are best for children or teens.

Incredible view and access to state park
We stayed at this property over a long weekend and had an amazing visit. The house was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The view from the deck is amazing, that's where we spent most of our time. Internet and TV worked well. Kitchen was very well equipped. Plenty of space for a group, and lots of activities. The proximity to the park was unbeatable. We were able to access the hiking trails in the park within about 10-15 minutes drive of the property. I would highly recommend this property and would strongly consider staying here again if we return to the area.

Bee-you-tee-full!
Fantastic property right on the Canyon. Back porch overlooking canyon faces east, so you get a perfect sunrise view every morning. The house is spacious, with plenty of room for the four adults in our group. Everything was clean and working perfectly. The house is located inside a gated community, so we felt very safe. Easy five minute drive to the State Park and about 10 minutes back to town. Perfect spot for our vacation. We will be back!

Overwhelmed
We were all overwhelmed by the location, home, and hospitality of the owner of this place. We plan on being regulars and the 8 hours we drove to be there was well worth it. We got to hike and see some wild life and the people living in the community was also kind.

Cabin atop of Lone Star beauty
The house was perfect. Large enough for 4 adult males. We were hoping to get as much hiking and biking in 2 days as we could. It seemed after the first full day, 2 days are not enough to take in all Palo Duro has to offer. Look forward to next years trip, thank you to David for being so easy to get a hold of and more than accommodating to slight changes in our reservation. This is surely a perfect spot to stay being less than 5 mins from the front gate of park. Loved It.
