"We were celebrating an early 37th anniversary quick get away, before my husband's eye surgery. The hosts were amzing and left us treats and mango mimosas. The balcony was great for viewing the 4th fireworks and we saw a deer and a beautiful fox. The place was lovely and clean. We can't wait to go back in cooler weather. ."

"Laird's Hideaway offered a great value for a simple place to stay. It offered a quiet location, easy parking, short drive to lake/dam. Host had excellent response times. Internet/WiFi had a little trouble, but good cell reception for hotspot as backup. Nice shower, kitchen appliances. Good air conditioning for hot summer."

"Enjoyed see all the wildlife during our stay. There was a cute little bbq area outside with a table and chairs was very nice."

"The property was spectacular! Clean, updated, and the communication with the owners was quick and helpful. I loved the property and the location. We were a few minutes from our concert at White Water Ampitheatre. The property was secure and safe. Loved that they had a washer and dryer in the unit. We stayed the weekend and it was nice to have the amenities to wash our wet clothes and the stuff we brought prior to returning to our work week. Would highly recommend this listing for your getaway. "

"Had a nice time at hummingbird haven. Tv lost setup at 8:45 Thursday night. Tried resetting router amp with no luck. Also was emergency next door at 6:50 am Friday with strobe lights lighting my room up. But that can happen anywhere, so I’m not deducting for this. Had good hamburger from city grill and goo Mexican food by Brookshiresand good breakfast at granny b."

"Great location and very quiet. Deer and hummingbirds! Very clean and comfortable cottage with a back porch to relax. We attended a show at Whitewater. Short drive and you can also Uber from here. We had some confusion with entry as there is a key box on door but you need to enter code on a key pad on door. Host was very quick to help us! Would stay here again!"
