Wonderful Getaway
Met by a Doe and her fawn!! By the time we unpacked their whole group of 12-13 showed up! Property was nice. Bed was comfortable and clean. Neighborhood was very clean and quiet.

Weekend get away
It was good looks newly redone . Some stuff needs tighten and finished the shower curtian in spare bath plastic part is tore and bathrub needs a mat in it to keep people from falling. Master shower tiles there are real slippery. Would book again

Canyon lake charmer
We were looking for a small home while we were in the area for the Little League World Series, and were lucky to get this little charmer! Small, but adorable- well decorated and exactly what we needed! The area was beautiful, and the deer families that roamed the area all day, and bedded down I. The front yard grass was an extra bonus!

Very nice place.
I would definitely stay here again. The house was very nice. The beds were comfortable. Only thing was the patio yard …. Cushions were wet and full of leaves and dirt. One chair had a huge wasp nest on it and the patio tree lights did not work.

We stayed for two nights. The house was cute and nicely decorated but the house was filthy. I reported it to the manager on VRBO who said this information would be relayed to the owner. We never did hear back even though I provided very specific details along with pictures.

Visiting Family after moving away
We had a wonderful stay at Comal cottage. We are originally from Canyon Lake until college and recently moved from Austin to Connecticut. It was a wonderful house to stay in while we visited with our family members that we miss so much!

Very well kept property. Very easy to book and email property management. Beds are cozy. 2 small recommendations: a couple of bottles of water at check in and salt/pepper. :) Overall, wonderful weekend.

Girls weekend
Great house for our weekend. There were 4 of us so 2 slept together in the king bed but that was fine. The beds were a bit to firm but nothing a mattress topper wouldn't fix. The ice ,maker was broken in the fridge and a weird noise in the wall when you flush the toilet. All in all the above things were minor annoyances. This home was beautifully furnished and well supplied. We really enjoyed our time there and would definitely stay there again. Thank you, Kally

Very nice property. Very quiet location. Very clean. Outdoor grill doesnt work. Couldnt operate fan in living room since we couldnt find remote. Would highly recommend property.

Our stay at Comal Cottage
We did enjoy our stay at the cottage for a long overdue "girls" getaway. The cottage was the perfect size...everyone had their own bed. There were a few things that needed attention though. I think all of us were looking forward to spending time on the back deck. However, the deck needed to be swept to prevent tracking into the house, the cushions on the outdoor furniture were dirty, and the grill had an empty propane tank. We were disappointed for sure! It would of been nice to have a broom and dust pan to use during our stay. Also...maybe move the hammock to the back yard for more privacy from the neighbors and make sure it's clean and ready to enjoy. It was laying on the ground when we arrived. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking a couple meals and the living room was comfortable. We did notice the sink faucet in the guest bath was loose and the shower only provided a trickle of water...not great for a nice hot shower. All in all, the cottage was good. With just a few tweaks, it'll be great!

Beautiful cottage but some issues…
Let me start off by saying this is a beautiful home, with high ceilings & very updated…however, there were a few issues we tried addressing immediately upon arrival and the communication with the Property Manager was not the best. The ceiling fan was obviously one that used a remote control- which couldn’t be found anywhere and so we couldn’t get it turned on, which in 106 degree weather would have been nice. When reporting that the Propery Manager told us it was a switch, at which point I explained none of the switches worked & it was obviously controlled by a remote - they told me they would inquire with the owner and let me know - that never happened. The Master shower was awful…it had build up in it or something that caused the shower head to literally only have about 5 holes that actually sprayed water…which made it virtually impossible to shower in it - and the bathroom and shower were amazing, it would have been nice to be able to enjoy it instead of the entire family using the one guest shower. We also found that the cleaning crew left a HUGE load of laundry in the dryer (towels, sheets, etc) from the stay before which we had nowhere to put - so I reported the shower issue and the laundry to the property manager, asking if I need to fold the laundry myself or will it be ok to leave and I got a simple “Thanks for letting us know.” It would have been nice to feel like they cared.

Mini spring break vacation
We stayed for 5 days. The house is beautiful and very cozy. We brought a dog as it was dog friendly. Had to speak with management a couple of times for small things like a light bulb outside went out. Very responsive and helpful. I will love to stay where again.
