"Monica was the best, to start we wanted her to make us supper the 1st night but I got back to her late and she had already made plans to attend an olive oil festival at a hamlet a few miles from her Villa. She invited us to attend with her and it was the best way to start out our visit, when you watch tv and see Italy with everyone from the town eating together, it was exactly like that an 8 course meal with all the wine you could drink it was amazing. She was available for everything we needed...

"The owners gave us a lovely welcome and explained everything very clearly in English. The house is beautiful and spacious with a wonderful large and safe pool, with lots of loungers, although only one umbrella. We used the pizza oven with wood supplied for us and also the barbecue. Sitting in the outdoor dining area with the beautiful view of the lit up pool and the hills beyond was heaven. The kitchen was very well equipped. "Giacomo was a great host who was there to well is to the property when we arrived. He was on hand if we needed anything and bought us fresh fruit from his garden several times which was delicious. The villa had everything we needed and the pool was great. Location wise, it was a 10 minute car journey to Lucca which we visited several times. There are several restaurants close to the villa including Eva which did amazing ice creams. We really enjoyed our time in Tuscany and the villa. "

"Our stay was excellent. We enjoyed the talks with the owner of the house. It is quiet, lonesome but amazing area. Olive trees in the garden as far as you can see. Vacation as shown in every Tuscan movie. The appartment itself is okay, depending in what you need. For us it was sufficient and excellent. Other people may need more kitchen equipment. Thanks for this unforgettable time. "
