GREAT place to stay
We enjoyed our weekend in Cape Charles at this home. It was an easy walk to the beach and to the town park where we enjoyed a free concert. The house is well furnished and very clean. We had everything we needed for a memorable weekend.

Loved this property
We loved this property for our two families! We have 4 kids total who loved the kayaks and beach cruisers and separate area to hang out/watch tv. The beds were comfortable and the house felt very clean. We also appreciated all of the beach gear (towels, toys, umbrellas and chairs) Check in was easy. Our only recommendation is to have some tin foil/saran wrap available.

A quiet place with charm and space.
Great location in quiet bay town of Cape Charles. Home was delightful - with a great layout that accommodated a family of 9 (6 adults, 3 children, and 2 dogs). Easy walk to the beach and to town - but definitely recommend the golf cart rental for fun and to fit in with the local scene. Kids loved it too. Owner was so communicative and responsive. Would 1000% stay here again. Thank you!

Cape Charles escape before start of school
This property was perfect for our needs. It was clean & check in was seamless. The fenced in backyard & garage area as well as the Cottage was perfect for the teens & kids. Outside shower was a big hit after the beach! House is close to beach access & the park. We rented a few golf carts which made it easy to get around & go to the pier for fishing. Bathrooms were large, beds were comfortable & kitchen well stocked. Host thought of many extras in this rental which was well appreciated. The outside grill was not clean & had to empty to the overflowing drip tray & replace the aluminum liner but besides that we really enjoyed our few days here. Our 2 smaller dogs loved the back yard & morning & evening walks! Will definitely come back again!

Just perfect!
The Silver Sands Cottage was clean and comfy, and Jo-Marie was a wonderful host...quick to respond to questions, and even provided a link for the delicious bakery across the street! Every detail was thoughtfully provided to make our family vacation just perfect! We enjoyed the fenced backyard with our 2 year old grandson and our grand dog. The outdoor shower was great, as were the bikes, beach wagon, floaties, umbrella etc etc...all provided! We did not use the living space attached to the garage as there was no bathroom, and the main house accommodated the 6 of us perfectly. We were there for the hometown 4th of July parade and fireworks and loved the safe and friendly community. We hope to be back some day!

Great house with great location!
This house had all that we needed for a beach vacation. Bikes, kayaks, and stocked kitchen. We could walk to the beach or the park for some pickleball or evening concert. Loved this town and this house. We did not bring a dog but if you wanted to, this would be a good spot.

Thanksgiving weekend
The house was comfortable and well-equipped. The bonus room out in the garage was a great space to be able to spread out-the teenagers enjoyed it the most. We enjoyed the outdoor space as well. We were very happy to be able to bring our 3 dogs along with us.

Nice, clean and cozy and convenient
House was very nicely decorated. Lots of place for guests to sleep. Cozy and comfortable livings space. Hostess is very responsive to questions and requests. The house is a convenient walk to shops and restaurants and a playground and the beach.

The house was perfect for us… room for all and the fenced in yard was great for the dogs. A short walk to a wonderful beach. Easy walk to the Main Street. The games in the garage room were a nice added touch.

The property was wonderful. It was beyond clean, well equipped, organized, easy to utilize, and had all wonderful accommodations. The fenced in yard was great for our family, as was the close location from the beach. Everything was perfect and the host was extremely kind! We loved our stay, and would come again!

Beautiful, clean house and thoughtful hosts!!
We loved staying here and hope to return again. They were super thoughtful - towels, makeup towels, checking to see if we needed anything but not at all intrusive. House is new and beautiful and everything works well. The separation of the king room downstairs and upstairs rooms works well for small families especially if traveling with extended family. AC worked well on the very hottest days. We can’t wait to return. Thank you for sharing your home with our family.

Great Cape Charles Spot
A very easy walk to the beach, this property has everything you might need. The outdoor spaces are just as nice as the indoor. The availability of beach chairs and towels along with basic soaps, towels, paper towels, toilet paper made it a simple spot to stay. My husband, sister and brother in law, and their kids stayed. We are all pet owners but didnt bring any of them. The backyard is fenced and would be great with a dog. Thanks for a great stay. We would stay again!
