"This cute little cottage is perfectly located overlooking a marsh and across the street from the beach. I had a peaceful, relaxing weekend enjoying the quiet off-season atmosphere with long walks and gorgeous sunsets on the mostly empty beach. The house: kitchen well stocked with everything, great views thru the windowed living/dining area, the hot water was hot, and just a short drive to Maine st for all the shops. "We really enjoyed our stay. This little third floor walk up was a perfect place for my husband and I to explore Portland. It is homey and comfortable and spotless. If you have any issues with mobility you should look elsewhere, but that is disclosed in the listing. The last set of stairs are very steep, but we found it charming. I highly recommend this rental. Well done! "

"This house was really cute. The host had little extras for the guests which was nice. I loved that she has a book of the local things to do and her recommendations. My husband enjoyed the little outside area off of the kitchen. You can walk to downtown, seemed like the whole town was very safe and inviting area. I would definitely recommend it and hope to be able to come back again!"

"We loved the location of this property. It was far enough away from the hustle and bustle to truly relax and enjoy the ocean sounds and sunrises, but close enough that we could easily hop on over to shopping and restaurants. The property was well-maintained, we loved the deck, and being able to walk right out on the beach. Highly recommend!"

"The location was amazing! Walking distance to the pier, and right by the beach! We enjoyed that it was far enough down from the pier that the beach was a bit less crowded but we were still able to walk downtown. The accommodations are very cute and rustic. Some things could use attention, like paint touch ups and the patio table needs replacing… however these were minor issues and we will be back! "
