We had a wonderful stay! The hosts was incredibly generous, gifting flowers for our valentine day. The property was beyond beautiful, and perfectly secluded. Its close proximity to the mountains made it easy to explore while still enjoying a peaceful retreat. We would absolutely stay here again! I highly recommend checking it out.

Stefan and Alexandra were very friendly hosts. The Bit of HEAVEN space was quite comfortable with all the amenities of home. Surrounded by the Roaring Fork river was an added bonus with access to walking trails and fishing holes. I would definitely recommend their place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway to Carbondale, CO.

We love everything about this hidden gem! This is our 2nd time staying here. Wish we could move in! Stefan & Alexandra, with their friendly pups Spanky & Sassy, are very friendly, accommodating & interesting. We fee like we are at home here. Never want to leave!!

We love the outdoors at this property. It’s green, shady, right on the river with the cooling effect and the lovely sound (along with the sound of a waterfall across the river and 2 fountains in the duck ponds on-site.), with great lounge chairs and dining table and chairs next to the Roaring Fork. The owners are lovely, welcoming hosts. There are over 2 acres of space for our dog to run around, complete with squirrels, and 2 resident dogs to hang out with. AND it abuts the paved bike/walking trail that runs from Glenwood Springs to Aspen. It’s less than a mile walk to Carbondale. This was our 3rd time to stay here, and we highly recommend it.

Quiet and Serene

This stay was one of the best we've had over the years. Clean, comfortable, well stocked kitchen, luxury bed linens. Bed was comfortable. Alexandra and Stephan were very accommodating and friendly. Location is quiet and secluded. We plan on returning.

Rio Grand Bike path access right out your door

We enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were great. The house is centrally located for outdoor activities and sightseeing in the Carbondale area. The property management couple were very helpful and informative about the area, offering suggestions of what to see. All in all it was a great experience and would opt to return again.

Almost Heaven

Location near the roaring Fork River and Rio Grande Trail for biking is incredible. Kitchen, fully stocked, clean and modern. Pull out couch, where the kids slept could use a thicker mattress. hot tub, ping-pong this place has it all.

Perfect spot

My husband and I had the best week of some major R&R. They aren’t lying when they say it’s a bit of Heaven. Sleeping with the bedroom window open every night to hear the sound of the Roaring Fork River and reading next to the river was so relaxing. The entire property is gorgeous, the space itself is very clean and comfortable. The hosts were super accommodating and gave great advice on where to eat and visit in the area. We will definitely be back again!

You Will Want To Stay Here

Stefan and Alexandra’s place along the Roaring Fork River is amazing! We will stay there every chance we get when visiting Carbondale, Colorado. The morning time in the hot tub when the temperature is 40 or 50 is so refreshing! Sitting outside in the comfortable lounge chairs and listening to the river and watching the wildlife is so relaxing and refreshing. You will want to stay here if you ever are in the Carbondale area. Thanks, Stefan and Alexandra for making this a special time for us. You were great hosts.

Absolutely Amazing Hosts!

Alexandra and Stephen are so welcoming and warm. Perfect location with views of the river from the bed. Inside is very clean and inviting. Quiet, beautiful location. Best vacation I have ever had. Loved playing with the dogs and getting to know them. We are already talking about future trips back and staying in this same location. Thank you both for the memories!
