Clean, cozy and comfortable. Well located between Aspen and the hot springs in Glenwood. We enjoyed great views of mountains, valley and city lights.

Great views
This house worked great for us (2 adults and 2 small kids). It was close to all of the things we wanted to do. It was very clean. The views are spectacular and just what we wanted. The kitchen was equipped with the basics. They were short on kitchen towels and pot holders which they think went missing. They were going to re-stock those items. You do have to take a flight of stone steps from where you park to where you stay. So guests with mobility issues might have problems. My only observation was road noise from the busy highway could be heard in the house. It didn't ruin our stay but if you are wanting a super quite experience you need to consider that. The property managers were very responsive and helpful. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Nice house with undisclosed significant highway noise
The property was lovely and as represented in the listing...except for a couple key things. We got a message from the management company on the day we were to check in that the motor on the clothes dryer wasn't working. They said there were "some drying racks" available to us and did not offer any other remediation or compensation. They left one small drying rack, which was not sufficient to hold a normal load of laundry. We happened to have come in looking to do some laundry, so this was inconvenient at best. The other major issue for us was the loud road noise from the highway below. Maybe this wouldn't bother other people, but it was a dealbreaker for us. The deck and outdoor spaces around the property were lovely, but the road noise made spending any time on them prohibitive. We would not rent this place again.

Amazing stay at Sopris Sundeck
We loved our stay at the Sopris Sundeck. The view was iconic and the house itself was clean, comfortable, and everything we needed for a mountain getaway. The drive into Aspen/Snowmass was about 30-40 minutes and only 5-10 into Carbondale. Plenty to do in the area and a wonderful house to come back to after a long day exploring!

We’ll be back!
Great place and great Location! The site of Mount Sopris was beautifu! Your place was perfect for our family! We had reservations for Iron Mountain Springs and rafting on the CO River and this was only a short drive to either place. You must visit the Sweet Colotadough family owned place down the road, it is a Gem!

Cozy mountain home
The home was clean and inviting. Check in and check out were very easy. The home supplied everything we needed while there. Sitting on the back deck, viewing the mountain and river, was so relaxing. The host gave great directions to home, gave information about restaurants, and activities to do. It was a very comfortable home for four adults. We will gladly stay here again if the opportunity presents itself.

Superior Sopris
The property and location could not have been more perfect. Short drive to Glenwood Springs and also Aspen. The are had so much to do but it was also perfect to sit T the home on the deck. Every evening we saw mule deer down in the valley. If your a sunrise and coffee or sunset and wine the home and deck is the perfect place

Best view and cozy surroundings!
My family and two dogs stayed here for the local sheepdog trial. The location is private yet 5 mins to downtown Carbondale, 10 mins to the dog trial, and 20 mins to Glenwood. This home has the absolute best view of Mount Sopris, is clean, and is decorated beautifully. I loved staying here and hope to be back soon.

Cozy guest house with great views of Sopris
We enjoyed our stay very much, but there were a few things that should be called out in the review for others to know. First, the road to the house is a steep, twisty, single-vehicle road with a narrow driveway, so it requires some very careful driving to access with some driving in reverse when another vehicle approaches. Second, throwing out the trash for a longer stay requires loading the trash in your vehicle and driving down the road to the dumpsters (not really a short walk). Third, since the home is on a rocky mountain side, we saw big elks with large antlers about 30 feet from the door and quite a few little spiders inside the home, so nature is really close.

Great Location and Beautiful View!
We stayed here while attending a family event in the Glenwood Springs area. The property was comfortable and well-equipped, but the greatest feature is the view of Mount Sopris. There are stores and restaurants conveniently nearby in Carbondale. I would definitely stay there again!

Nice & clean
Loved my stay here. Very clean. Important to note you will hear the highway & see the highway when you look out the view. The space is a lot smaller than I imagined, which is fine for just me but be aware with a large family. The steps aren’t the easiest to go down, make sure you take your time. Overall a great stay still & would recommend!
