Also, there were many immigrants living in the area and that was not the "Irish feel" we were looking for. "The cottage is as described. Nice touch is that the family history of the last Irish inhabitant is shown on the wall. Living and kitchen are rather dark. Conservatory is really nice and light. Local roads are narrow and winding so max speed of 80 or 100 km/hr cannot be reached. Hence supermarket (Kenmare) is 45-60 min drive depending on traffic. Supply of towels is rather limited: 1 bath towel per person for a 4 night stay. "
