"The cabin was perfect for us and our dog. It is clean with plenty of space and a well-stocked kitchen. The lake is gorgeous and so close to the cabin. Our dog loved romping in it every morning. Our host was kind and very responive. We'd totally stay again."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Ira’s place. It was as advertised. Having use of the canoe was great. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. We spent a great deal of time just sitting outside overlooking the lake. Our dog also enjoyed the experience! "

"This is a beautiful cottage for a small family. The location is charming and inviting. The pond was a highlight for our child and us. The fire area was so comfortable and relaxing. The cottage put you in the vacation mode with its decor and views! the hosts are fantastic people who maintain a beautiful property and were very helpful with anything we needed. "

"We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the amenities they had for little ones. The lake house is beautifully decorated and the views are majestic. Conveniently located close to major routes and not far from Parry Sound. Host is quick to respond, and booking and check in process very efficient. Great spot!"

"The Cottages were beautiful. Clean, modern and all the recreational options were available: Boat, canoe, Excellent swimming opportunity. The owner responded almost immediately to requests for info or questions regarding the cottage functioning. The lake is sooo clean and the fishing was great. The residents were very friendly and helpful. We got stuck in the middle of the lake because the gas line got kinked and so many nice people stopped to help us. Very enjoyable and would highly recommend....

"The view is magnificent and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We only used the upstairs so can’t speak to the lower level. Bed was comfortable. Bring your own top sheet. Location was perfect for exploring the area. Sunroom and deck and floating deck were all really nice! There is a train that goes by but it didn’t bother us at night because we had 2 fans and a sound machine on. We would stay here again! Loved it. "

"Family reunion trip where both main cottage and cabin were rented together. The pros first- Host Terry was very responsive to questions and very accommodating. The interior of the main cottage was very nicely renovated. Linens and towels provided. Wi-Fi stable. Lake Shawanaga was warm and very clean. However, there were some disappointments. 1. Both main cottage and cabin were not cleaned very well. There were cobwebs in bedrooms and bedsheets still had lots of pet hair. One bedside table was...

"Our family had a fun time at this beautiful cottage. We made good use of the watercraft available and enjoyed soaking up the sun on the dock. Our grandsons especially loved the fooseball table and pinpong table. There were even girl toys that our granddaughter played with. We have a large family so it was a challenge trying to fit refrigerated items in the one kitchen frig. Availability of a bar frig would have been a help. Towels are provided which is great but explaining on the cottage website...

"This property worked very well for our family of 10. It is on a beautiful lake and has all the equipment you need to enjoy the water. The one marina on the lake had a rental that fit our needs and we had no problem getting or returning the pontoon boat. Saw some beautiful sunsets and even went to a great pizza restaurant via the boat. We did not use the sauna---the weather was warmer than expected (P.S.-the house had A/C that worked great!) and the grandchildren noticed bees/wasps in the entry...
