Wonderful Stay!

Our stay was wonderful and seamless. Check in and out was super easy. Communication was great. We truly enjoyed our stay. The kids were able to see deer and turkeys roaming near the creek. An added bonus is we were just a 5 minute drive from Carmel Valley Inn where we attended multiple wedding weekend events.

Great little home right on river!

The house was perfect for our family of four. The views from the back deck were amazing and it was the perfect location for our Big Sur and Monterey adenture.

Great place

My friend and I were in the area to do some Big Sur day hikes. This was the perfect place. The river is beautiful, and the property was everything we needed. The Management contact was very helpful, but also not in any way intrusive. We loved staying here.

Carmel Valley Hideaway

Beautiful location & comfortable house, perfect for our family of 4 adults & 2 kids. Narrow spiral staircase could be a problem for some. Convenient to Garland park & an easy drive to Carmel, Monterey, Pacific Grove & even Big Sur. We enjoyed our stay & the scenic setting.

WONDERFUL!

The owners thought of everything in this beautiful home! All the comforts of home. If we had any questions, Susan and Dennis were incredibly responsive via text and came over to help us any time we wanted. They even bought us the most incredible strawberries from the local farmers market, “just because”. We have never had such sweet and responsive hosts anywhere we’ve stayed before. Thank you Dennis and Susan!

Great location

This property was in a great location for an event we attended at Carmel Valley Ranch, and the kids enjoyed the creek out back. The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was not as well stocked with basic items as other places we’ve stayed, but it was overall a great experience.

Peaceful retreat

Breathtaking River house

Oh boy did we love this river house rental. Our kids ages 8,5, & 3 couldn't wait to get up each morning and head down to the river!! Rocks to throw, sticks to float, new bugs & catapillars to see, birds to watch. The house itself was very clean and clearly remodeled in the best way. The only hesitation I had was a winding staircase, but once my kids got the hang of it they thought it one of the most fun aspects to the house 😅. We heartily recommend this home to everyone and look forward to another stay when we're back in the area.

Perfect Carmel Cabin

This house was the perfect spot for our family to stay on our Carmel getaway! It was clean, organized, and had everything we needed during our visit. The hosts were so nice and thoughtful during our stay. They answered quickly if we had any questions, and they left fresh flowers for us upon arrival. All through the house there were sweet, little touches to welcome you and make you feel at home. And the location of this house is perfect! The Carmel river is right outside the back door, and our boys loved going out there to see the ducks. Overall, it was just the most perfect place to stay. And we cannot wait to go back.
