"We had the most wonderful stay in Katie's Cottage. We met the lovely host Caroline on arrival and we couldn't have gotten a warmer welcome. There was fresh scones with jam and butter and a bottle of wine in the fridge. The house was absolutely immaculate with loads of fresh towels and bed linen. "The house itself was great. Lots of room and comfortable. They location is on a small dirt road which made it a bit awkward. The problem came with the heat. Had a cold week , low to mid 40s and the house inside wss set at 17.. about 63 degrees. We asked about raisi t the heat heat the answer was no. Heat is controled by owner. So we spent our evenings in sweater and jacket. Felt untrusted. We left several days early"

"Sometimes you come across a place that deserves 6 stars and this is one of those places. Incredible location with an incredible host, thanks Gillian and family for looking after us for our two week stay. We already miss this cottage and can't wait to get back. "We were expecting the unrivaled scenery of Ireland. But to be able explore from a cozy remodeled police station was icing on the cake. Every room was clean and well stocked right down to the wood and coal for the fireplace. The hostess was warm and so helpful. We felt like we had known her forever. "Was moved to a room that had better Wi-Fi coverage, a minor inconvenience but the staff were always most helpful. Everything else was very comfortable. Particularly enjoyed the swimming pool.. Had breakfast and a couple of evening meals which were a good standard. In the evenings the staff were faultless and I enjoyed the comfort with a pint of Guinness. Many thanks, I stayed for four nights and would recommend this hotel. Ron Sweeney."
