We absolutely loved our stay at this Villa. It was our first visit to Piemonte and this was the perfect place for us to relax and enjoy the region. Easy to explore the neighboring villages with a car or to just relax by the pool. The hosts are friendly and communicative. They immediately sent us a list of recommendations so we were able to plan ahead. We booked a cooking class at the Villa with Fernanda. She brought everything with her for our cooking class/dinner, including local wines. It was a fabulous and delicious evening. We always wanted to stay in an Italian Villa and this exceeded our expectations. Every member of our group would love to stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa della Volpe. The place and the views are amazing. Communication with the owner was very easy and he provided us with excellent recommendations for things to do in the area. I would highly recommend Monica Wutrich to cook dinner for your guests. She is on the list of chefs provided by the owner. She cooked two meals for us which were delicious. I would stay at this place again.

Wonderful Villa

Amazing property in the heart of Piedmont. Wonderful villa, amazing pool, terrific views, well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds and excellent outdoor set up. Comfortable for a group. Owner is highly responsive before and during stay for questions and any concerns. Easy travel to local wine destinations. Zero complaints.

Wir verbrachten eine Woche mit Freunden auf dem tollen Anwesen von Michael und Marit.Obwohl wir 8 Personen waren war dies kein Problem. Die Aufnahmen und die Beschreibung des Hauses und der Ausstattung entsprechen dem was wir vorgefunden haben. Die Betreuung durch die Eigentümer als auch der Agentur war ausserordentlich gut.

Perfect Setting and view

Nicely decorated with everything you need for a week stay. Great location from which to explore the region. Town had a couple of excellent restaurants so didn’t have to drive to go to dinner if you don’t mind a hilly walk.

A real gem!

A comfortable modern villa with enchanting views of the vineyards and the snow-capped peaks of the Alps in the background. Equipped with an infinity pool. Spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. A real gem. Lovely restaurants and wine tastings in the area such as Asti, Alba and Barolo.

Peaceful retreat

We were lucky enough to stay here for five nights. Each morning we woke up to fog rolling through the vineyard that slowly revealed the amazing views through out the day. The home was as pictured, well appointed with items we needed for cooking and relaxing. Everything was quite comfortable. Michael and Diana were both so pleasant and communicative through the entire process. Dreaming of a return trip in the warmer months to make use of the beautiful pool!

Fantastic Property Near everything

The property and grounds were beautiful and well kept. Diana the villa manager checked on us many times during our stay and the house was immaculate upon our arrival. It was a pleasant surprise that the property owner Michael met us the day we arrived to show us his villa and amenities. He was solo d checking on us often and directing places, restaurants etc to visit.

Fall Foodie Retreat

Fantastic Stay

An oasis in the middle of wine country. Charming towns with excellent restaurants cafes and sights close by. The pool was 82f with sweeping views of vineyards and a perfect way to spend downtime. The villa is very well equipped with all linens towels and kitchen equipment. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

A charming house in the countryside

The house is bright and beautiful. Everything was very clean. Our host Michael was amazing. Communication was easy and it’s clear that they want to take good care of the house and provide the best experience for the guests. We just loved our stay here! The views from the balcony and from the pool are stunning. Here you can enjoy the serenity of the countryside, yet it takes only 6 minutes by car to get into the nearest village, supermarket etc. We would love to get back here one day!

A stay in paradise!

We had the most wonderful stay in the Piedmont at this amazing property. The house is beautifully appointed, very comfortable and has the most amazing views. Our host Michael was attentive and very help in making recommendations and providing information about the area. Our daughter ‘s loved sunbathing and swimming in the gorgeous infinity pool overlooking a field of poppies. We can’t wait to go back!

Great Visit to Piedmont

My wife and I came and stayed along with two other couples for 3 nights in late September 23. Michael was extremely helpful providing us with ideas for what to do during our trip and answering any questions we had. He connected us with a local chef to do a cooking class and dinner at the house that was a great time. The house was a perfect size for our group and close to everything in the region via car. The views from the house are amazing. We had a great time and highly recommend staying here.

Villa Volpe -Sept 2023

Casa Volpe was everything we expected and more!!! The updated yet charming and rustic villa was exactly as described and a welcome retreat to relax after a day of visiting the near by towns in the Piedmont area. It honestly felt like you were far away from everything because of the vast views but just minutes from town with lots of privacy and amenities! The caretaker Diana was very helpful with restaurants, wine bars, villages and cities of interest to see. If we ever had a question she was quick to respond. The pool area was very relaxing and the outdoor bbq and patio area ambience is perfect for dinners! The flies can be annoying this time of year so thankful we bought some organic bug repellent. Inside, lots of candles at the dining table was a perfect romantic touch to enjoy dinners and wine. We stayed in the upstairs first bedroom to the left and the mattress was extremely comfortable. Also loved the ceiling fans and ability to open the screened windows to take in all of the sounds at night. Over the last few days of our stay cows showed up and I loved their bells…just like beautiful chimes music to our ears!!! Our trip in late September turned into be harvest season, and it was a special treat to see the grapes in their full beauty and all the farmers out in the fields harvesting! Just drive slow…lots of big tractors!!! Also, since it was harvest time, we got to meet our host Michael and he was very gracious, and spent some time with us explaining about his vine

Above Expectations

The entire stay was wonderful and stress free. Communication was top notch. Directions were wonderful and it was listed on Google maps. We have been to several VRBO’s in Italy and this is the first one that exceeded our expectations and the pictures were spot on. Great location to explore Borolo and Barbaresco wine country. Fernanda, the chef that was recommended was lovely and her cooking class was great. Everything worked as it should. The A/C was more than adequate even on the 100 degree days that we had on the first few days of our stay. The house was clean and tidy. There are 2 bedrooms with on suite bathrooms, the other 2 share a downstairs full bath. All 4 bedrooms are upstairs. We were 3 couples and it worked out great. Pool is clean and loungers were in good nick. Overall a wonderful stay and a property we will come back to in the future.

Wonderful Villa

We loved everything about our stay in this fantastic villa. It worked very well for x2 families as there is plenty of space. The photographs on VRBO are very accurate. The views are stunning and we really appreciated the well equipped kitchen. Communication with Michael the owner and Diana the housekeeper was easy and they were very helpful. Many thanks!
