"Overall we loved it, though it would have been good to know that you can't drive to the hotel if you don't have a proper 4WD as it is located at the end of a long and steep tarished road. Luckily the hotel offers an transport service for the dirty road between 8am and 5pm. They also offer food(preorder only) and drinks at the bar. The staff was very nice and always helpful. "What I loved the most about the hotel was the staff. Everyone was so welcoming and nice. They also chatted with us and gave great suggestions. The hotel needs a bit of updating but when we did run into some minor issues, the staff was always quick and solved them. The food was good. "Amazing location and view. We were very impressed with the property. Staff were fantastic. Breakfast was great. Our room ws clean and comfortable. It is a bit off the beaten track, and the road to get up there is rough so if taking a taxi, make sure the taxi includes the drive all the way up there. We heard that some drop you off on the main road, and it would be quite the hike, especially with bags. "

"City View is nestled in the mountains overlooking Roseau. It is a view to rival Morne Bruce. The Host, Tim L., is friendly and helpful even providing rides into town or back from town when it would work with his work schedule.
