"Used this place as a break from our parks road trip for a night, super close to food, convenience stores, gas right outside the neighborhood. Brewery maybe 10 minutes down the road. If looking to pop into jasper at all it’s a scenic drive out of the park saw some bears and caribou. 2 hours from Columbia icefield which we went to the following morning and drive was very scenic."

"Cathy and Bruce’s guest suite was exactly what we were looking for. Remote enough to be able to enjoy the hot tub with full privacy, but close enough to Golden that we had easy access to stores and restaurants. Cathy and Bruce were both super personable too. Cathy had amazing recommendations for restaurants and local attractions and Bruce was a fount of knowledge about the area and local regulations. "This is one of the best places we have ever stayed. The location and property are beautiful. Cathy and Bruce are very personable. Also, very knowledgeable about the area. Cathy's breakfast is the best!!! Everything is delicious. When we visit that area of Montana again, we would definitely stay here. Highly recommend staying at Golden Acres!!!"

"Well... so far is a good experience. location is 1 hours 30 minutes from Lake Louise, we almost want to cancel because we are not expecting that far. but ended up we continued to stay. It is quite and Max is very helpful with all what we need. Location is in Golden BC, but its a nice view on the way to cabin. make sure not driving in the night or dark time. Bring your own food for dinner or bfast. No restaurant surrounding. "

"This was my second stay at Chancellor Peak. We stayed in chalet #14 which is private with an amazing view of the Peak and the surrounding nature. The chalet complex is located right at the Kootenay River. The area is very quiet and there are bears as well. A black bear came looking for food around the chalets a couple of nights. Overall a great place to stay and good value."
