"Wonderful host, and the Amelia House has everything you need for a weekend getaway. We came to visit The Alamo & Riverwalk. To San Antonio is about 30mins. We enjoyed the historic tour in Castroville. Moye Retreat Center is beautiful. If you like late 1800's buildings you will enjoy the town."

"The property has a very nice kitchen and layout along with great games ...pool, foosball, basketball and a guitar to play! A little thing, but loved how the towels were folded - nice, unique attention to detail touch! It was very easy to get to Helotes which is where we were seeing a concert and a town well worth visiting. We loved it!! "

"House was clean. Upstairs has been updated. Lower level shows its age. Pool and hot tub were excellent. Hot tub heating pump went out day we arrived but the property management had it repaired within 24 hours. Would stay again."

"We had a good stay, however you do need to pay attention to all the rules. Especially no shoes in the home. It was kinda hard to take off your shoes at the entrance and walk around the house barefoot the entire time. However, we didn’t ask if we may wear slippers. You might want to ask if you book this home. Also, the temperature on the thermostat must stay at a certain temperature, so it did get hot. We couldn’t lower it less than 75.
