Getaway with friends

This was the perfect place for my husband and I and another couple to enjoy a much needed R&R weekend. The place was amazing from a welcome email from Eric and Marisa with perfect instructions and brief videos to restaurant suggestions. The house was so cute and comfortable. Everything was labeled and if you forgot something, they had it. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. Great place for a family vacation or just some friends needing some catching up. Thank you to the Moons!

Lake house

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the lake house for the Summerfest 4th of July weekend. The house was across the street from the lake so the location was great. The house had all we needed and more. Check-in was easy and the hosts provided a lot of helpful information.

Would definitely come back

We came to Cedar Lake for my son's wedding at his fiancé's family home, and this VRBO was the perfect choice for our stay. We've stayed in many vacation rentals over the years, and I think this one has been the best. It's very well-appointed and has everything a family could need. The owners are attentive to detail in their communication. I had no questions about anything.Our weekend was filled with family & friends, but we would love to come back and enjoy the lake leisurely sometime, and would definitely stay here again.

Lovely family visit!

We had a great visit at this cozy place by the lake. It was very clean, communication was great, well located for us, and even has games including a Ms. Pacman! Thank you so much for having us.

Amazing location and customer service

This house is across from the lake with amazing views and plenty of well decorated space. The host was extremely helpful and communicated everything well so we knew exactly what to do! We will absolutely return!

Charming House, great view of Lake 8-22 -8-25

We wanted to place to stay to celebrate a family birthday. My brother and I chose this Cedar Lake home because of the proximity to the lake….we had a wonderful stay. I have no hesitations recommending a stay at this wonderful home with the exception of a noise item which I have listed below. The home is near the lakeside (great views of the lake from the back deck and back porch). It had a large living area and was clean and appealing. They had everything available that you would need for a longer stay….kitchen was well equipped with everything and quite charming. They also had inside and outside games to play to keep you active…as well as access to a private park with lake access across the street. Overall, a wonderful stay. However, saying that, I would like others to be aware that the house backs up to Lake Shore Drive and the back deck faces the road (as well as 2 of the bedrooms) and those bedrooms can be a bit loud at times for light sleepers due to the street noise. However, in the rest of the house, the home was very quiet. Finally, the house was clean and well appointed. Thank you Eric and Marissa. Edward and Beverly.

Great little lake house!!

We had a wonderful time at this lake house. Location to the lake was great, our kids had a lot of fun! The owners were so accommodating and easy to contact if we needed them. The house had everything we could have needed and more.

Cedar Lake

We stayed at the Ohana House in Cedar Lake. The hosts were Eric and Marisa Moon. We stayed 9 nights. We loved the house and the location. The house is kept in fantastic shape and was so peaceful and quiet. The hosts were very approachable and communicative. Marisa texted several times to see how things were going and if we needed anything. We would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend this rental!

Best Lake House on Cedar Lake

We decided to do a quick trip to cedar lake and are so happy we decided to stay with Eric and Marissa. My family arrived first and Marissa was there to greet them and show them around the house and beach. You will not find a cleaner house around. The decorations and attention to detail are phenomenal. There is a Pub/Restaurant a couple doors down"Boogaboos" that we absolutely loved. They had a beer garden overlooking lake. We are antique shoppers and absolutely loved Crown Points variety of shops. Kids enjoyed Beach area and we even rented paddle boards from Boogaboos. The older kids rented a Jet Ski from North point Marina. The owner is from Hawaii and him and his wife have done a great job incorporating there story into the house. We will definitely be back.

Great place to stay!

We were in town for a wedding. The host was very nice and told us to reach out if needed. The house was clean, comfortable and fit the bill for us. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.
