Woodland Retreat
Nestled in the woods about 15 minutes from the center of Woodstock, this home was impeccably clean, well-furnished, and equipped with all the amenities our group of eight needed for a relaxed, comfortable stay. The men particularly enjoyed the game room in the basement. The outdoor space was another plus. Sitting out on the deck was totally zen. The host was highly responsive and welcoming. All four couples were in agreement that this was an outstanding experience. Many thanks to our hosts for sharing this beautiful home.

Quechee get way
one of the best rentals I have ever done. House has so many fun games and it is located just down the street from well-maintained hiking trails. it is very well stocked and comfortable. Quechee lakes is just down the road and Woodstock is a great place to explore. we did a falconry afternoon which was very cool.

Beautiful spot with awesome amenities!
I stayed here with a group of friends. We had a blast hanging out and using the game room. The location was great and we were easily able to go out and about to explore the area. The house was beautiful and well maintained. The hosts really have thought of everything. Michelle and Steve were really easy to communicate with. I would definitely stay here again!

Fun Adventure
We enjoyed this beautiful home for a family vacation. I highly recommend this home and the owners. They were very responsive and did much to ensure that our stay was a great success. The Livingroom is a comfortable space, from the furnishings, to the décor, to the high ceiling it was very calming and relaxing. The kitchen was well appointed with pots, pans, and gadgets. I had everything I needed to cook for our group. I appreciated the espresso maker. There was also drip and Keurig coffeemakers available. The books are amazing. There are books for all ages. We read every board book to our 9 month old grandson. The books in the master suite are some of the best books ever written in my opinion. I had no time for reading with so many other toys and people to play with. I loved the closeness of the hiking trails. Just around the corner is the trailhead (entrance) to miles of looping hilly trails from 2.25 miles to longer. These were well marked, had benches along the way, and signs about the history and wildlife of the area. I took long walks and took a mountain bike out for a spin on the trails. During our stay we visited, Killington, Billings Farm , the Quechee pool, Vins, The American Precision Museum, and Sugarbush Farm. There is so much to do in the area. It was a great trip!

Beautiful Four Seasons Home

Amazing Stay in the Most Beautiful Home
This is the most beautifully decorated rental home that we have ever seen. From the light fixtures to the bedding, all the details are carefully curated. The house is spacious, leaving enough room for everyone to spread out, while offering welcoming gathering space. The shuffleboard and air hockey tables were a big success. The owner were kind and helpful when we had questions. We would gladly book again!

Great Place!
The house looks great in the pictures but is even better in person. We had a short 2 night stay for a family get together nearby and booked the house instead of multiple hotel rooms. Very glad we did. Enjoyed it so much we wished we were staying longer. Plenty of room for all of us to have our own space, game room in basement was great, and very comfortable and private for morning coffee or glass of wine at night inside or out on the deck. Highly recommend and will stay again if we ever need a place like this again.

Family reunion
Wonderfully equipped home in a beautiful part of Vermont, centrally located to permit a variety of excursions -- to Quechee, Woodstock and Hanover, and in close range of excellent local restaurants. The house itself is nicely appointed -- we enjoyed gathering around the fireplace in the evenings after dinner. Finally, the owners were very responsive to questions during our stay. Great experience!

Great getaway in beautiful Vermont
My family and I stayed with a few friends at this wonderful home in the height of fall. We loved the setup and amenities which kept us happy and together. I would definitely book this place again as it was secluded but not ‘remote’ and was very relaxing.

Quechee Stay
This is a wonderful place to stay with plenty of room for everyone and lots of activities both inside and out. It rained most of the time they were here, but our visiting family had a great time in the two game rooms downstairs and with the many choices of board games upstairs. The kitchen was well stocked and roomy enough for multiple people to work in at the same time. The hosts were friendly and very communicative. Highly recommend!

Outstanding for Our Family Gathering
This property is not a VRBO, it is a home. A well cared for and curated home. This made our week's stay so enjoyable. We cooked all of our meals in the well-equipped kitchen, relaxed on the deck and screened in porch and played in the game room. I'd be remiss if I did not mention that Michelle and Steve are wonderful and responsive hosts. We hope to return to this great spot!

Great family home!
My husband, along with our 2 sons, met our daughter and her fiancé , who live in Connecticut, at this home in Vermont to celebrate a belated Christmas. Steve and Michelle were kind enough to leave up their Christmas decorations/tree for us. The basement party area was a HUGE hit with everyone. There were many pinball, air hockey, and shuffleboard competitions throughout our stay. We even found the poker table and ended up playing Texas Hold ‘Em EVERY evening- which we have never done. Most of us had never even played it before, but it was a blast hanging around that table every night enjoying each other’s company. The communication with the host was excellent. I really appreciated the quick response. The kitchen had EVERYTHING we could imagine, and more! We’ve stayed at MANY vacation homes, and this was one of the most well-stocked kitchens we’ve had. It almost seemed like it was their home, with all of the spices, etc.. that were available. The beds were all comfortable, there were plenty of linens, etc… nice laundry room. Plenty of room to spread out in the house. We enjoyed the little area with the table in the kitchen. We used it to do a Vermont puzzle. Many conveniences were also provided- there was an ample supply of toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap at every sink, trash bags, etc… they even had an unopened bag of coffee there for us! So nice. I haven’t found those conveniences at other places. Usually there will be one roll of paper towels, a roll of TP in each bathroom, etc… it can get expensive to supply the home. I really appreciated that! The house is a bit away from activities. There are a few restaurants and shops in town. We ended up spending more time cooking and hanging out in the house, which was fine. Spent a few days out, exploring other towns. I misunderstood the QLLA ( lodge ) rules. Any time we wanted to go there, even to use the gym, it was $17 per person. My son did use the gym, and he said it was adequate. We didn’t ski because we realized that we weren’t prepared for that, but I would think it might get pricey to use the QLLA fit other activities. Overall, I would absolutely stay here again. It was a GREAT place! Highly recommend. Plus you get a bonus- a daily visit from Holly, the Saint Bernard next door! Lol

Vermont Getaway
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The condition and roominess of the home was great for the 7 of us. Everyone enjoyed the game room and the kitchen was very well stocked and a central location to the dining room and family room. The trails near the home were great for hiking and Quechee and Woodstock are very close by. We would certainly consider staying here again. The host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with.

Leaf peepers for 3-weeks🍁
The home was everything we were expecting! It was clean and well taken care of. Rooms were large and spacious and the home had a warm, comforting feel. The kids (and adults) loved the game rooms in the basement. The kitchen was perfect for preparing meals and afternoon cocktail hour. We also enjoyed the deck and gas fire pit on chilly evenings. Steve and Michelle were always available and quick to respond to any of our questions. The location was perfect for us. It was quiet and peaceful. We spent most of our time in Quechee, Woodstock and the surrounding area—there is so much to do! We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect getaway!
Beautiful home! This house has everything you could want or need—from fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, maxed out basement with pool table, ping pong, pinball and more, large deck and screened porch, great location for walking with easy access to hiking trails, and very clean! Michelle and Steve were awesome hosts and available to answer any questions. Truly a wonderful home. Would definitely recommend highly!

Great Family Getaway
The house was exceptionally clean and very well stocked. The kitchen in particular had everything you could want or need. We were two families with kids ranging from 7-17. Ample sleeping space and quiet places for all. The screen porch and deck were lovely in the evening. The kids LOVED all the games which also included a new air hockey table and pinball machine. There were also plenty of board games and books to read if that is more your speed. Owners and neighbors were extremely friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. I would definitely rent again if we go back to the area.

Clean, spacious house with all the amenities of luxury country living
Beautiful. Like staying in a friend’s home. Easy check in, truly clean, wonderful amenities to keep children of all ages and adults fully entertained for a long long time. I only regret not having more time to enjoy the house. Steve was very supportive in getting us settled and ensuring we have all we need. It was a perfect stay. Thank you, Steve!
