"We stayed here while in town for a wedding. We had 13 adults and one child. This is such a neat old house with so many cool features. We had a fun time exploring the house and admiring the unique features like the Jefferson doors to the porches, the old coal dump, and all the super cool antiques in the home. "We had a lovely stay at Stratton House South. The location is perfect, an easy walk to dining and shops, yet still quiet. The unit is quite comfortable, though a little shy on power outlets by the bed. The historic notes throughout the unit were very interesting. "We came from Michigan we like to try different places instead of just sitting on a beach for our vacations. This place is only 10-15 minutes from Gettysburg. 1 hour and 10 to Antietam, Maryland. "We had a great experience at the property. Communication with the host was spot on - when we arrived someone had parked in our designated space and the host immediately picked up the phone and got us another spot - that was very appreciated after a 12 hour drive! The apartment was super clean and the kitchen very well stocked with plenty of Dishes, silverware, etc. There were also plenty of towels and there were box fans in each room. We were there in October and did not need the heat or AC...

"The cabin was very clean and cozy. We loved the location and the wildlife as well! The deer were beautiful! It was a very short drive to the Battlegrounds and Gettysburg..The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We found the sunroom to be the perfect spot for our Bible reading.
