"We had 4 families that had kiddos playing in an All State Baseball tournament form NC. We wanted something that we could all enjoy together while. It being at the fields. Perfect place to hang out and let the kids hang. Even though it was freezing they all jumped in the pool. We loved the history and lived in feel art this home. "

"This beautiful home was everything we needed for our Thanksgiving family gathering. Every bedroom has an en suite bath, kitchen is fully stocked with equipment, utensils, etc. (I always bring a couple of favorite pans to rentals, but never needed them.)The lake view is better than the photos, as the lot faces the widest part of Lake Murray. Large back yard for kids and a large dock (bring a light tackle rod and a couple of lures). Tom, the host, is THE BEST. This VRBO gets an A+++"

"The facility was perfect! Two comments: A substantial security deposit is held, apparently not refunded till you submit your review? Second, the email with the "key" or door code to the stay was buried in my email from the Wednesday before my Saturday stay, hence the 1/5 for communication? Again, the facility was perfect! "We rent a place on Lake Murray every 4th of July. I have to say this is the worse experience we’ve ever had. The kitchen is infested with ants. Ants were all over the counter and got in all our chips and boxes of cereal. There were also ants in the twin size bed downstairs, both showers, and the bathroom vanities. The refrigerator did not work. When we woke up the first morning all our food was warm. We had to get coolers and ice to keep our food cold. The ice maker doesn’t work either. We left...

"The Quack Shack is located at a very peaceful part of Lake Murray. We had our own Kayaks and kayaking was great. Our Sheltie loved the fenced in yard and we had a nice visit with the neighbors. Every kind of need was available if we needed it. Great location, great relaxing stay."
