"The house was comfortable and clean, neighborhood was calm and quiet. We really enjoyed sitting under the covered patio and visiting next to the river. This would make a great place to say in the heat of the summer! The property manager was very kind and communicated well. We would recommend and stay again."

"Our family of 4 had a great stay at the Rose River Cottage! It served as an excellent home base for adventures in the area. We hiked at NRG NP, white water rafted (West Virginia Adventures) and Cliff jumped at Summersville Lake (pirates cove for the rocks). Beautiful mornings and sunsets on the river. House is well stocked, and hosts were unbelievably quick with responses."

"The place was very quaint and cute and serve its purpose well. The only recommendation I would leave is either getting a plastic cover for the mattress or a new mattress as it was quite stained. I only knew that because I stripped the bed down when I leave so they it’s easier for them to wash the linens."

"Minutes to beautiful falls. Beds were comfortable and house was good size . Enjoyed setting down at the river fishing right on the property, floated the New River both in kayaks and white water rafting . Would definitely stay again if we return to this area ."

"Quiet little neighborhood that’s convenient to north side of park (bridge area). I was impressed with overall cleanliness! Check in/out was a breeze. Didn’t have to do 1/2 of the cleaning before leaving. Would stay again."

"We totally enjoyed our stay during Bridge Day at New River Gorge National Park. Our host was extremely accommodating, available, and responsive. The home was perfectly located between the park and the downtown area in a very quiet neighborhood. It was very clean inside and out, with all the needed essentials to make our stay very comfortable. "Very quite place way back from noise and business of city life. We were very busy with what we were doing but the campground around us looked peaceful. The cabin seemed newly built and had new furnishings. The only thing that was missing was a normal sized shower. The shower was very tiny and for the money it was overpriced. Other than that it was a good deal. "
