Thanksgiving Getaway
Our family of 7 adults and 2 dogs fit nicely in this spacious home. Pauline was very responsive to our questions. We found the kitchen to be well equipped to cook a Thanksgiving dinner. The porch was a good place to read and the location of the house was convenient to the many attractions at Kiawah Island. The courtyard was great for the dogs. We would certainly stay there again.

Quiet and Convenient Neighborhood
Lovely, well appointed home. Worked well for two couples with two adult children…room for everybody to spread out and have some time alone, and great room/dining/kitchen was a good gathering place. We did not use the porch at all as it’s sort of out of the way. Coukd have been a nice place to read.

Pauline and Bruce are such great hosts. Thank you for letting us stay at your lovely home. The home is top drawer and so accommodating. Location, location, location. - short drive to the home once you are on Kiawah. - short walk to Night Heron Park - short walk to Roy Barth tennis facility - short drive or bike to Freshfields Just bring your bathing suit and suntan lotion. - the neighborhood swimming pool is steps away. - a short walk to the beach with supplied beach chairs

Great family beach vacation
My husband and I were joined by our two adult children, their spouses, and our son's Scottie for a very relaxing two-week stay. This quiet, attractive house is very well equipped and offers space for multiple simultaneous activities. It is a lovely 10-minute walk (3-minute bike ride) to the beach. Once there, we were within walking distance to the Sanctuary hotel and its pool bar. It is also a very short walk from the house to the Turtle Point golf course and its restaurant, and it is relatively close to the Roy Barth tennis center. The only negative for us was that the house is in a wooded area and is somewhat dark for most of the day, but this also probably kept it cooler. We did not use the elevator as the instructions looked tricky.

NYE stay
Beautiful, well decorated home with a lot of small well-thought details throughout the house: the sitting, the lighting, very pretty decor, well equipped kitchen. And very Cozy! The location is great- 10 mins walk to the beach, 10-mins walk to the Sanctuary We Enjoyed our stay very much and Highly recommend it! This is our 5th NYE celebration In Kiawah. And I would love to stay in this house again in our future trip.

Beautiful fully stocked home
We loved our weeklong stay over Thanksgiving- the home is beautiful: fully stocked kitchen, comfortable family room, nice large dining table, and all bedrooms perfectly suited for our family’s needs. We didn’t mind the 15 minute walk to the beach. Super easy bike ride away.

Overall very nice property,, nice layout,, a bit of noise carry from upstairs bedrooms,,did have an issue with clogged tub drain in upstairs bath,, called maintenance said would have a plumber,,, said 20 min never showed,,, went to store and bought drano,, couple treatments was better,,, still slow draining

Perfect family get away!
This was our first time on Kiawah island and it is a beautiful place. The Lister home was also beautiful. Everything was well stocked and clean and comfy. I appreciated the well stocked kitchen with sharp knives, and our family appreciated the abundance of bathrooms! We rented bikes, which made exploring the island much easier, along with accessing the beach. It was so nice to have beach chairs and umbrellas provided - we would load up the gear in the truck to make drop off easier. The beach is walkable but not with lots of gear. Our whole family enjoyed our stay and we all agreed we will be back!

Beautiful home!
We had a great stay! There were 8 of us (4 adults, 4 kids) and a dog, and we were very comfortable in this house. The house was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen had everything you could need and was so well organized. The screened in porch was probably our favorite spot! We spent a lot of our time in the evenings out there reading or playing cards and didn’t have to worry about bugs. We only used the neighborhood pool once but were the only ones there. It’s the perfect size to cool off after a day at the beach and was empty most of the time when we rode by. The beach was an easy 5-10 minute bike ride, depending on where you want to access the beach. All the kids with us enjoyed being so close to the walking/bike path and went on many bike rides around the island. Communication with Pauline and Bruce was great. We received a house manual with all the information we needed to know a few weeks before our trip. The day we arrived we realized the Wi-Fi wasn’t working. Bruce called immediately after I messaged and offered to send their housekeeper over right away. As it wasn’t an emergency, we had her come the next day and with a quick reset of the modem, we were back in business and had no issues with the Wi-Fi the rest of our trip. We had a wonderful time and are so glad we found this house! It truly is a beautiful house and in a nice, quiet location. Thank you, Listers for sharing your home with us!

Wonderful vacation home
This was our 2nd time staying in Cypress Point. Our first time at 5505 Cypress Cottage. Everything was wonderful, clean, close to beaches and a short bike ride to just about anyplace we wanted to go. Would highly recommend!

5 Star Get-a-way
The property was amazing, beautiful home with all the comforts of home. Was amazed what was provided in the home, they went over the top in providing you with everything you need, from beach towels to body bath. Someone who likes to cook I appreciated there were sharp knives! The only downside is the lack of parking space, could only fit 3 cars and had to find somewhere on the island to park the other car. Over all a great place to stay!

Wonderful location
This is the perfect home for a family bringing a few friends. It is spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the kitchen is perfectly stocked for cooking meals. It is a fun bike ride to the beach, one street down from the sanctuary, and a short bike ride to Night Heron park. Pauline is very friendly and kind. We enjoyed our stay very much!
