"There are 6 of us all at retirement age. We r from Indiana and the forecast was calling for several days n the mid 90’s. It was a last minute decision. We had a great time. We went to the island, took the carriage ride, to the locks, glass bottom boat, walked on the trails at the state parks, to the water falls, etc. temps were 10-25 degrees cooler than they were having at home. Had a great stay!"

"We loved staying at this cabin. The host met us as soon as we pulled in and gave us a tour of the place. It's in a perfect location as you are 10 minutes in either direction from where you want to be. The view from the cabin cannot be beat and the cabin itself has everything you need for your home away from home. Highly recommend!"

"We loved the look and feel of the cabin. It was cozy and we really loved having a fire on those cool, early spring nights. We enjoyed seeing wild turkeys, deer, chipmunks, & squirrels. The Tunnel of Trees was beautiful! Unfortunately we didn't find any Petoskey stones. Maybe next year. The only tiny downside was the traffic noise during the daytime. But we would definitely want to rent this property again!"

"I want to start off by saying we did not feel unsafe at all! Some of these reviews are dramatic. It is behind an older hotel but it’s not scary and no one is going to get you. Cabin was new and clean. The door lock batteries died and we couldn’t get in but they came out to fix it within 5 minutes. I messaged the host on here a couple times and didn’t get any reply back so communication wasn’t that great. I would suggest to add a full length mirror, hooks for towels and a broom for indoors. "The house was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the lake and the bridge. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch overlooking the lake and having a full kitchen. On the negative side there was a distinct gas odor in the garage and I would have liked to have extra garbage bags and a few dish towels. I would definitely stay there again!"

"This was a great cabin to stay in. Beautiful view, and a nice private beach. Front door sticks a little bit, and screen door didn't quite sit squarely, but I assume this is due to settling of the property foundation (as it is on the beach.) Overall clean and spacious cabin, and we look forward to returning next season."

"We were looking for a place near Harbor Springs big enough for a family of five. This was the perfect blend of rustic and modern amenities and was everything we hoped for. Short drive to HS and Petoskey. Hosts had lots of extras available (coffee, creamer, ketchup, water, Coke, popcorn etc) which was a nice bonus. Would highly recommend!"
