"Great house on lake. Needs some things though. Upstairs mattress bad, low water pressure throughout house. Grill not in good shape, light by back door keeps flicking. Porch flood light to front yard works but only stays on 30 sec motion dector. Did not supply enough papers products. Many miles of trails across st was not assessable. But don’t let this detour you from staying here."

"The name of the property says it all!! The one room cabin was a perfect get away. There was access to the bike trail directly across the street and the 7 mile bike ride into town was very nice. It was nice to “come home” each night to our own place. There were no issues - the binder of information regarding the property was helpful and the cookies were delicious!"

"We absolutely love this location! They had everything we needed and more. I had family in from different states. We were able to have a bonfire and watch the Northern lights directly above our heads! We took a short trip to the Dark Park as well. We also spent the day on Mackinac Island. "Our stay at John's cottage was perfect. He provided great directions, which was helpful as we arrived after dark. The beds were comfortable and my niece was loved the goodies that were left for us. "The sunset views from this house are absolutely breath-taking! The house had plenty of space for family to gather as well as space to sit in a corner and read with an amazing view. "Very pleased. Although the mattresses on the beds are very hard. Would suggest the following to make guests more comfortable: hooks for clothing and wet towels. There is no place to hang anything in the bedrooms or bathrooms. Waste basket in bathroom. Fitted sheets on bunk beds. Another chair by the couch area. Stools at breakfast bar nice. Take the plastic off light in bunk bed area. Not safe and could melt to glass if it hasn’t already. New Broom. I will upload photos. "
