Perfect Anniversary Getaway
This was the perfect spot for our anniversary vacation! Outside the chaos of the city but not so far that we felt like we couldn't bop back and forth. We had pretty busy days planned so were really only here for sleeping but it was nice to know we had a safe place to leave our things while we were gone! Owners are right on site and the absolute sweetest! Diane was wonderful to work with and answered all my questions, even the ones that were probably annoying! 🙃

Great location and functional.
Very pleased with the stay, great location, BUT the listing “oversells” a bit. This is not a one bedroom - it’s a studio - and the only way 6 people could sleep comfortably is if 2 would sleep in the car. I would not recommend more than 4. The queen bed seems a little small - so may not be comfortable for larger people. The kitchen had all the appliances, but it’s a small refrigerator, limited on the dishes, and it’s not really stocked with anything (bring your own olive oil, spices, functional knives, regular size cutting board, pans, wine glasses, etc). There is zero insulation - so the highway noise could be disturbing to light sleepers. Window AC is needed during the day and blankets at night. Bathroom is clean and good water pressure - but don’t forget your toiletries and it’s pretty tiny so just be aware that the supposedly 6 people will not have any room to store anything. Don’t read this as negative - we had a lovely time and recommend if y’all know what to expect and how to pack accordingly.

The cabin was clean and convenient for day trips. Debra was friendly, polite and greeted us. It was very quiet and perfect for our first vacation with an almost 2 year old. Beautiful property. Will definitely visit again.

Beautiful spot on Lake Huron
This was a nice, small apartment where my daughter, sister and I stayed. Took me one night to get used to the road noise but we all slept very well. The owners are very nice and accommodating. Even brought us cookies when we arrived! We enjoyed the area very much and our stay here. Room had one queen bed and a queen futon.

Clean and comfortable
This place is very nice. A few yards down from where we stayed is a beautiful view of Lake Huron, a wooden swing for enjoying the views, picnic table and a firepit. A wooded area surrounds as well. Deb and Bob were very accommodating, and we thoroughly enjoyed the homemade chocolate chip cookies they provided us on arrival....nice touch.

Girls Trip - Perfect!
We stayed on our 2nd annual sisters trip (4 adults) and loved the stay! Even though we ran out of time to use it we loved that there was a fire pit down by the water! It did get warm enough (marginally) to swim so it was super nice to have our own private access to the water without having to go anywhere. Thanks for everything!

Owners were very friendly. They took time to introduce themselves, give us fresh baked cookies and asked us to let them know if there was anything we need or if there are any suggestions for improvements. The property was well mantained and our rooms very nice. We would stay there again.

Great location and stay!
We had a great time staying here. The boys loved running down to the beach, jumping the waves and looking for rocks. I would consider it more of a studio than 1 bedroom as there wasn’t a door to the bedroom but the unit still worked great for our family! Would definitely come back here!

Great location to enjoy the beauty of Northern Michigan
The property was clean and quiet so we could enjoy the beauty of the Lake Huron out our back door. Deb and Bod were great hosts. If you are looking for a quiet, clean location outside the touristy area of Mackinaw City, this is it.

Ed and Lori’s Vacation 2021
This rental was AWESOME!! So clean and with all the amenities needed for a worry free stay. Lem’s 2 was a remarkable rental and looking forward to renting again if we decide to go “Up North” for a future vacation. Having the owner on the premise was a bonus. Deb and her husband met us upon our arrival and even gave us some homemade chocolate chip cookies! (My personal favorite 😍). We were close to everything we wanted to do. After spending all day sightseeing, going to the Island, etc., it was a pleasure going back to our vacation home and relaxing. Thank you for allowing us to rent this wonderful place! This little cabin is perfect for a relaxing weekend gateway! It’s perfectly located between Mackinaw City and Cheboygan. We love the views of the lake, Mackinaw Bridge and Mackinaw Island!! We can’t wait to come back.

Beautiful property, great location
We loved being right in between Cheboygan and Mackinac City as it allowed us to easily check out both places. We took a day trip to Tahquamenon Falls and had a great time. Our other day we just enjoyed the beach on the property. So private and beautiful with great view of Mackinac Bridge and Mackinac Island. Only downside was being on a busy road, but can't even hear the road from the beach. Hosts were very kind, brought fresh baked cookies upon our arrival. Would stay again!

Perfect Location
Cozy place, right in the middle of two towns. Very easy access to The ferry’s. Property is beautiful. Owner is very sweet. We are excited to try the other cabins on the property as well. :) Road noise is a bit loud on the end so if that bothers you check out one of the other units but it wasn't an issue for us. Loved that a fan was provided, as well as so many other little things like hand soap and hand sanitizer, paper towels… We didn’t cook at the property but lots of cooking supplies were there. My kids spent hours playing with the Jenga blocks on a rainy day. Bring lots of mosquito spray as you’ll need it any time your near the water.
