Too cozy to leave
We were looking for a place to stay comfortably to hang out and work on our various projects without interruption. Anything from business, to art, to solving all our world's problems. This was the best house for all of it. Comfortable, quiet, and many spaces to work together or alone. And close to downtown for a quick walk to stretch your legs.

Very comfortable
We stayed here in January 2025 for a family event nearby. This classic Michigan style house is well-stocked and comfortable. The kitchen is modern. The floor plan is a bit quirky, due to the age of the house, but it works well, the house is clean and organized, and is about two blocks of easy walking to the heart of downtown Chelsea. Highly recommended.

Charming and comfortable
We had a very comfortable stay here over the Christmas holiday. The house is clean and well maintained. The kitchen had everything we could need. The beds were the most comfortable I've slept in for a rental. My family loved being able to put presents under the tree in the family room.

Wonderful stay!
We enjoyed our stay! Easy check in and check out. Clean bathrooms, clean beds and clean kitchen. Great location. Close to downtown Chelsea and everything we wanted to see.

Fantastic!!
We were in town for 3 nights for my son's wedding in downtown Chelsea and this was a perfect location. Within walking distance to everything in town. Home was super clean and provided the space and everything needed for 3 couples plus one additional friend to share the home comfortably. Just one suggestion: a second tv, maybe upstairs, would be a nice addition. Just 1 TV in the living room wasn't ideal. The firepit and backyard looked very inviting but we unfortunately didn't have the time to enjoy it with all the wedding festivities. We'd love to return again for a mini getaway! Home was exactly as described and shown in photos. Highly recommend.

Great house!
House is very clean and kitchen is well equipped. Fire pit outside is a nice bonus! Location is great to attend Michigan football game without having to pay Ann Arbor rental prices! This is our second time staying here and definitely won’t be our last. Hostess is very attentive and easy to communicate with.

Perfect place in downtown Chelsea.
The “sisters” had tickets to Purple Rose theater, dinner reservations at Common Grill with a little shopping the next morning. We wanted to stay the night but options in Chelsea are limited. So glad we looked at VRBO. The downtown location was perfect. The house was super clean, comfortable and everyone had their own bedroom. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it.

Truly charming and wonderful!
Karissa's home was perfect! We were a group of 8 high school friends in our 70's who were there for the play at The Purple Rose and some catching up and relaxation. The house was clean, beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked and it had all the amenities we could ask for. Walking distance to everything. We will definitely be staying in this truly charming home again.

The property was awesome. Property manager was wonderful and had every little nice touch covered - snacks, coffee, creamer and sugar ready to go. The location is a VERY easy walk to downtown Chelsea which is fantastic. Could not have been better.

Very clean! So many wonderful amenities associated with this home! It is so well stocked with anything you might need in the kitchen and bathrooms. Quick easy walk to downtown. The toys and books, outdoor playset and sandbox were perfect for the 3 year old. This home made our stay in Chelsea a pure delight!

Our Chelsea Go To!
Our family had another great stay at the Dewey house! The hosts make it all so easy and comfortable and we feel so lucky to have such a great rental near our family in town. Our kids loved the play area in the backyard and we love the quick walk to Agricole and Main St. The hosts always leave a super appreciated welcome basket with snacks and treats and it’s hugely helpful after traveling with kids. It’s such a cozy home, we love it and will be back!

Wonderful family celebration reunion
Celebrated grandmother and granddaughter joint birthdays in Chelsea. Such a gem of a house. Beautifully appointed, with fire pit in back. Everyone slept comfortably and the kitchen was perfect with all the modern amenities needed to prepare meals, which we did. Easy to communicate without host too. Bonus, super short walk into charming downtown area. Would highly recommend!

Mothers Day weekend
House was very clean, beds were comfortable, stocked with anything we needed. Was nice having enough toilet paper, paper towel, condiments, coffee, shampoo, conditioner & body wash. So didn’t have to worry about going out and getting more. Location was great. Walked to restaurants & shops downtown in minutes. Host was easy to communicate with. Also checked off a couple bucket list items while we were there. Had a bonfire out back. Wood and roasting sticks were provided! Heard Northern lights may have been visible that night, so walked to front of house and saw them! Also, drove 40 minutes to Kensington Metro Park and hand fed wild birds!

Perfect spot in Chelsea
This house is spotless and so perfectly situated in Chelsea! The house is exactly as described. Host is responsive and accommodating. Really a treasure of a VRBO. Here are a few considerations: - the kids’ room beds are plenty big for adults, they just have footboards. - the 1st floor bedroom and living room share sound. - even though the house sleeps 8, you might pay a $20 fee per person. - the location is perfect. - the driveway and street have plentiful parking. Highly recommend this if you’re looking for a spot to land in Chelsea, MI!

Well equipped and comfortable.
This standard Michigan house has a very well-stocked modern kitchen and bathrooms. There is laundry on-site that I didn’t use. The floor plan is a little quirky but everything works well and is very comfortable. It met our needs perfectly.

Great holiday home base
Our family had an excellent stay at this cozy Chelsea house! Location could not have been better, walkable to the downtown area, but also on a very quiet residential street. Plenty of space for us (4 adults (2 couples) and 2 kids) with a bedroom room to spare. All bedrooms spaces were so cozy with great bedding and we loved the spacious bathrooms and showers! Kitchen had tons of cooking supplies and the snack basket on arrival saved us before we made it to the grocery store.
