"Loved the Old McDonald's farm vibe. Goats! Chickens! Ducks! Orchards! Lee was so welcoming and easy going. We stayed in the RV, which was roomy for the two of us and well-appointed, incl outlets near the bed for overnight charging. Chose the bunk bed cubby over the Queen size bed and slept like a baby. "The studio suite was very clean, uncluttered, and aesthetically attractive. It was very quiet and peaceful with a lovely view of water through the trees. "This is a sleek, modern condo well-situated with a nice view of a marina. Our only issue was with hosts’ policy re amenities. Canadians have a reputation for being nicer than we Americans but the “honor system “ re amenities did not work for us. Guests are supposed to replace what they use. "The wise place is a great place to stay great walking/running trails near by Shawnigan Lake grocery and great restaurants are all in walking distance. Inside the home was well layout and stocked with the basics. "A nice quiet getaway on an artistic island! The owners have a model railway on site that they are proud to show, as well as the Inner Healing Sound Spa. My wife and I enjoyed both events. The island is beautiful and easy to drive around. Lots of crafts and artists. A few minor things could be updated on the property, however all in all it was very satisfactory. "
