"The location of this place is bonkers: you literally offload from the lift and you’re home. It’s also a very short walk to the village and being able to drive right up to the unit was very convenient. The layout with the shared gear area was perfect, and the hot tub upstairs was amazing. The owners, who live upstairs, are really lovely, considerate and responsive, and I hope we have an opportunity to stay here again one day. My wife and I and our two teenage daughters absolutely loved our time...

"What a fantastic stay we had at Dachshund House. Rob the owner went out of his way to make us feel welcome and comfortable, even setting up a Christmas tree with little native Australian animals amongst the decorations on the tree! We stayed for 4 weeks (family of 5) as part of a “once in a lifetime” 2.5 month trip together and were not disappointed, apart from the fact we could not stay longer at the property! "Enjoyed our week stay here. Found it to be well appointed, very comfortable, cosy and warm. Had all that we needed - home away from home. We ate out most nights in the resort village and, because of the very cold artic conditions at the time, found it very handy to have a car. Skiing was excellent, and we were able to ski in/out just below the carpark."

"So easy to ski from the property right to the lift. First day was a little difficult to get back from the village area with a 5 year old…..but once we discovered there’s a shuttle service from the village that takes you right to your doorstep…piece of cake for the rest of the week. Kitchen is well stocked with everything needed to prepare big meals, and the dining area easily accommodated our gang of 14 Everyone loved the chalet and wants to come back next year. "
