"Checkin was easy and the kitchen was extremely well stocked. The house is adorable, well furnished and extremely clean. It's just off the main road, but was peaceful and quiet. We saw deer grazing out in the yard one evening.Only two things were less than perfect...the king mattress wasn't comfortable, and the staircase was horrible. I know there isn't much room, but that can't be the only option. "

"The setting is peaceful and beautiful. The property has a rich history. The house has a lot of quirky character and exploring it is a trip within itself. We have stayed in several places in WV but this one is currently our favorite."

"My friends and I absolutely loved this stay on the lake in West Virginia! The artsy vibe of the home, views, and wildlife were amazing. Plenty of places to sit and catch up. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances (thank you for the local coffee!) Each adult having their own bedroom and full bath was a huge perk!"

"My sisters and I were looking for a place to stay to explore the area and visit Harper's Ferry and Leesburg worked well for us.The house was comfortable and well appointed. I found the stairs rather difficult, especially coming down but otherwise, all was great.Excellent restaurants were nearby."
