"Lots of things were lovely; fantastic room service food (unbelievably fresh and delicious, better than anywhere I’ve ever eaten in a hotel while traveling), beautiful serene natural setting, and wonderful design of the buildings plus COOKIES and tea in the afternoon. The service was also fantastic. The paint could use freshening and the bathroom grout needs redoing (or consider retiling). "The Inn is a timeless rustic beauty, with a wonderful view over the Connecticut River, which borders Vermont and NH. The house, built in 1881, has some of the original large plank oak flooring. It is (as can be seen from their picture) great to sit out on the covered porch and watch the eagles fly over the water. The owners, Blessing and Kaelan, were wonderful hosts. We enjoyed a fantastic breakfast made with food from their local farm, starting with a lovely granola yoghurt and finishing...

"Excellent breakfast. Very pretty yard. Close to downtown Brattleboro. But limited staff on site and limited engagement with staff. Also, the house decor felt a bit more tired than quaint. Also, large edges at the beginning of the driveway that opens to a lots of traffic, need to be pruned or taken down because the inhibit seeing ongoing traffic (safety issue)."
